Tourist Screamed At By Queen's Guard After She Touches His Horse

The woman only wanted a souvenir

A woman learned the hard way why you're never to invade the space of a Queen's guard. Have a look at the consequences below:

London is one of the busiest cities in the world, and as such is jam packed with tourists, who descend on the capital in the hope of a chance encounter with Liz herself.

Failing that, most settle for a photo opportunity with one of her many, many guards.

However, while som think these well-dressed military types are just playing around, they are anything but. One false move and they can and very well may kill you.

But it seems that one women didn't quite get the memo and got the fright of her life when she was given a good telling off when she tried to get a pic next to one of the Queen's gee-gees.

The woman tried to get a sneaky pic with the horse.

In a video posted on TikTok, the blonde-haired tourist can be seen approaching the horse, getting quite close to its face.

The powerful animal then turns its head towards her, forcing the woman to step backwards.

In an attempt to get a bit closer to the horse, though, she then attempts to grab hold of its reins, much to the annoyance of the guard on its back.

Spotting her move, the guard orders her to stop, shouting: "Stand back from the Queen's lifeguard, don't touch the reins!"

Understandably startled by the order, the woman jumps out of her skin, holding her chest as she backs away.

The short clip was shared to social media along with the caption: "We Will Never Return To London After This Incident."

They then added: "He was a rather angry little man."

She got a telling off.

Since the video was posted, it has been viewed more than 4.1 million times, with thousands piling into the comments - not all of which are incredibly sympathetic.

One user wrote: "Serves her right you aren’t allowed to touch the guard."

Another chipped in: "No one should ever touch a horses reins - don’t people understand that. Top soldier!"

"It’s not Disney they are working horses and serving army," put a third.

While another added: "That’s hilarious, they aren’t just there for tourists."

Well, this isn't the first time a tourist has gotten in the way of a Queen's lifeguard.

Last year, a young boy was trampled on and knocked over by a marching guard when he was stood in their way outside of Buckingham Palace.

Lesson: don't mess with the men in funny outfits.
