Armed police forced to step in to warn tourist after he makes Queen’s Guard storm off

Well that was awkward...

This is the moment a tourist was told off like a naughty school kid for making a Queen's Guard storm off. Check it out:

The difference here is that instead of getting a talking to from a teacher, the man was stopped by an armed police officer.

In the clip shared on TikTok page Buska in the Park, the London sightseer can be seen posing for amusing shots in front of one of the cavalry soldiers.

Dressed in full uniform, the troop – who is now known as the King's Guard following Queen Elizabeth II's death last week – stands stoically as the tourist continues to muck around.

The man can be seen crouching down and pretending to kiss in the direction of the guard's groin area – you get the idea.

Eventually he decides enough is enough, the soldier stamps his feet and storms off before an armed officer comes into shot.

Another day in London.

"He ruined the picture," jokes the tourist, to which the cop replies, "You shouldn't disrespect him."

Eventually the guy walks away and the guard is able to come back to his spot, without the worry of any crotch shots making their way to social media.

That being said, the video has been viewed nearly 14 million times on TikTok, with thousands of people sharing their thoughts on the incident.

"Respect is a thing a lot of people lack these days," wrote one, while another said, "Have some respect for the man he is just doing his job."

A third added, "I would never be able to have the patience."

Others, however, commented on the monarchy's old fashioned approach to security, including this person who said: "Why not just install cameras and leave the 18th century in the past."

A police officer soon came along to tell the tourist off.

"These people take things way too seriously," said another, with a third writing, "The guard stomping about in a mood," alongside a laughing face emoji.

Whatever your take on the matter, it's certainly not the first time a sightseer has seriously annoyed one of the King's Guards.

Take, for example, the footage of a soldier screaming at a woman for touching his horse.

Clearly some people think these well-dressed military types are just playing around, but they are anything but – and like the man mentioned above, this tourist learned the hard way.

In a video posted on TikTok, the woman can be seen getting too close for comfort before the horse-mounted guard orders her to stop, shouting: "Stand back from the Queen's lifeguard, don't touch the reins!"

Understandably startled by the order, the woman jumps out of her skin, holding her chest as she backs away.

Lesson learned: don't mess with the men in funny outfits.
