An Aussie BDSM couple have revealed their first date was in their ‘dungeon’.
They say you should never kiss on the first date, but what about spanking?

These two BDSM lovebirds met each the old fashion way: on Tinder.
But shortly after meeting, their first date went down a very unconventional route as Laura entered Kris’ dungeon, which was the first time she had been in a dungeon, mind you.
Kris identifies as a dominant, which involves a set of rituals and behaviours where you take control over a submissive person.

He said that when he first joined online dating, he was very open regarding his sexual fetishes.
“Yes, I was on there as a dominant, and sort of indicating that’s the type of person I was after,” he disclosed.
Once the two teed up a date, Kris shared that the couple had a consent chat before practising BDSM on one another.
But aside from consent, Kris reveals that when it comes to BDSM, open communication is of the utmost importance.

“You can’t do this without communication. You can’t do it without being vulnerable and [be] honest with yourself about the things that you want and need,” he said.
When speaking on previous relationships, Kris admitted that he’d always found them too ‘vanilla’.
However, he can now truly explore his sexuality.
“There’s allowing each to be able to express themselves, and by me being my genuine self, where other relationships have become a bit stale or stagnant, you know there’s always that intimacy and excitement and spontaneity,” he added.

As Kris admits to taking the driver's seat when arranging BDSM activities, Laura said it’s almost always a surprise for her.
One night they could partake in a bit of shibari, the next she could be rolling around in latex.
“It’s always a surprise for me with what’s going to happen,” she said.

But exploring BDSM is not without its critics.
Laura shared that she’s had many questions about her kinks, with some claiming that being a submissive is merely all about pleasing her man.
“Actually, to be real, he serves me more than I serve him. He likes to organise things, he likes to be in control, I’m pretty s**t at it,” she added.
“I don’t have to make any decisions. I like being told what to do nicely."
