Will there be a Do Revenge 2?

Will there be a Do Revenge 2?

Do Revenge has thrilled fans on Netflix, and many are keen to know if there will be a sequel.

Fans have been raving about Do Revenge and have been left wanting more.

Do Revenge is the latest film to arrive on Netflix with a stellar cast from the likes of Stranger Things and Riverdale. The thriller has got everybody talking, with viewers keen to know if a sequel is coming.

Will there be a Do Revenge sequel?

Twitter has been flooded with pleas for a sequel to Do Revenge, but as yet cast and crew haven’t let anything slip on if there will be a follow-up.

Director Jennifer Robinson hasn’t given anything away, and as yet the pleading with Netflix has been met with silence. Chances are, the streaming giant is waiting to see what the all-important stats say in the first thirty days after release.

If it goes viral (think Squid Game) then we might just get a follow up. Tell all of your friends to watch it!

Fans of The Sandman have been pestering in a similar way and Neil Gaiman seems to be hopeful, so there’s nothing to say Do Revenge 2 won’t happen.

Do Revenge reviews

So far, the dark comedy has been scored 65 and “generally favourable reviews” on Metacritic with a 7.5 from fans. Rotten Tomatoes has scored it more generously with 85% critics, and 85% viewers.

Praise so far has called Do Revenge a “fun, engrossing experience”, and dubbed it a “daring dark comedy” that “pays homage to and deconstructs the ‘90s high school film sets you know and love.”

Fans on Twitter have been calling for a sequel as they want to see Drea and Eleanor together.

Do Revenge 2 cast

One of the major selling points for Do Revenge is the amazing cast, including members of Riverdale and Stranger Things. Fresh from the latest season of the supernatural thriller as Robin, Maya Hawke plays Eleanor in Do Revenge opposite Riverdale’s Camila Mendez as Drea.

The likelihood of a sequel also depends on Hawke’s availability what with another season of Stranger Things in the works.

Do Revenge’s director was so adamant that Hawke was a part of it that she relocate the whole project: “It had to be Maya. They were so perfect that we legit moved the production, because if we waited for Maya after ‘Stranger Things,’ we would’ve lost Cami [Mendes]. And if we had Cami in L.A., we wouldn’t have Maya. I was like, ‘Nope, it has to be both of them.’ So we moved the whole movie six weeks before production.”

  • Maya Hawke as Eleanor
  • Camila Mendes as Drea
  • Austin Abrams as Max
  • Ava Capri as Carissa
  • Maia Reficco as Montana
  • Paris Berelc as Meghan
  • Talia Ryder as Gabbi
  • Rish Shah as Russ
