Real footage from Wolf of Wall Street beach party as Jordan Belfort's ex-wife confirms disturbing act happened

Real footage from Wolf of Wall Street beach party as Jordan Belfort's ex-wife confirms disturbing act happened

The video reveals that the party scenes in the film are not too far off what was depicted

The Wolf of Wall Street has become an absolute classic, despite only being 11-years-old.

Following the lavish and outrageous life of stockbroker Jordan Belfort, the film looks at his meteoric rise to the top and sharp spiral down, featuring a lot of booze, drugs, sex and profanities on the way.

What's there not to like?

But you may have seen the movie numerous times and thought that everything seems a bit far-fetched, a bit exaggerated for Hollywood, like most films are.

Well, according to Jordan Belfort's ex-wife Dr. Nadine Macaluso, you couldn't be further from the truth.

Played by Margot Robbie in the hit film under the name Naomi Lapaglia, Macaluso recently made an appearance on the Anything Goes with James English and discussed the 2013 film.

Apparently, most of it did really happen, as she revealed that about '90 percent' of the film was accurate, as she even said that real life was actually even more over the top than what it showed'.

And if you've seen the film, that's pretty hard to imagine.

Real footage of a party hosted by Belfort himself has resurfaced following the interview, so you won't need to imagine it - you can see the madness for yourself.

The Wolf is indeed on the roof hyping the crowd up, with hundreds of people in and around the pool getting rowdy as he carried out one of his famous speeches, which you can see many of in the film.

It makes you think about how crazy the events must have been, if they had to be watered down for an R-rated film.

On the Anything Goes podcast, Macaluso recalled the party where she met Belfort for the first time, which is also shown in the movie, as Belfort's best friend exposes himself in front of her in a hard-to-watch scene.

Apparently, it's true again.

Macaluso said: "I went to that party with my boyfriend and just like the movie shows, someone exposed themselves to me.

"I was totally freaked out, I said to him 'we gotta get outta here, these people are nuts'.

"I didn't know they were all on Quaaludes at the time, I was 22, I didn't even know what a Quaalude was, and we left.

"But then I guess Jordan had set his sights on me and decided he wanted to date me."

In the film, it was Jonah Hill's character who did that, and actual footage from that party shows that what happens in the movie lines up pretty closely to what really happened to these people.
