A goalkeeper was sent off after confronting a fan who urinated in his water bottle during an FA Trophy match on Saturday.
Warrington Town keeper Tony Thompson says he was 'knocked sick' after what the fan did and furiously confronted the Guiseley AFC supporter, who was standing behind his goal during the second half of the match.
After drinking from the bottle and realising it wasn't water inside, Thompson squirted the Guiseley fan with the contents of the bottle, leading to a major incident which caused play to be stopped for a long time.
Players confronted the supporters amassed behind the goal for Warrington's 1-0 defeat to Guiseley and the referee showed the goalkeeper a red card for confronting the fan who urinated in his drink.

Taking to Twitter to explain his side of things, Thompson argued that the fan's behaviour had gone well over the line and it was 'outrageous' that he wasn't allowed to respond to something so disgusting.
He said: "Today I fell out of love with the GAME!
"I've been called many names but for someone to p**s in my bottle, for me to drink it and then to be told I wasn’t allowed to react because I'm a player is outrageous."
"That person has put me my family’s health at risk and knocked me sick."
Warrington manager Mark Beesley said he thought the referee had made the wrong decision in sending off the goalkeeper, branding it 'a disgrace' that Thompson was sent off for throwing away the urine filled bottle.

The manager said the referee 'completely lost control' after showing the keeper the red card, saying he 'can't understand' the decision and claiming 'the referee has to see common sense'.
He said: "From our point of view, the welfare of our players is paramount and what Tony was subjected to was disgraceful.
"Whoever did it should hang their head in shame and never be allowed into a football game again."
Guiseley have released a statement saying they've asked Warrington for the CCTV footage from the stadium so they can identify the fan.
They said: "We unreservedly condemn this disgraceful action. We deplore the actions of the individual(s) concerned and we will work alongside Warrington Town and the police to identify them.

"If the individual(s) involved can be identified they will receive life bans from attending Guiseley AFC fixtures."
Footage of a fan allegedly putting a bottle filled with urine into the goalkeeper's net has been shared on social media, while the investigation to identify the fan is ongoing.
