England fan ordered to put shirt back on by stadium official

England fan ordered to put shirt back on by stadium official

The England fans got a little overexcited during the Three Lions' World Cup match with Wales

An England fan was ordered to put his shirt back on during England's match against Wales.

The two sides went head to head at the World Cup in Qatar tonight (29 November), with the Three Lions coming out on top, defeating their neighbour comprehensively by three goals to nil.

However, one fan appeared to get a little over excited when he whipped his top off during the game.

And it didn't go down well at all with security working in the stadium, who quickly rushed over to him and told him to get it back on ASAP.

The man in question is Paul Gregory, popularly known as Tango, who regularly goes topless to football matches and events.

In photos shared on social media, the Sheffield Wednesday fan can be seen having the time of his life, watching on as Harry Kane and the lads dismantled the Welsh defence.

However, in another set of pics, a member of the security team can be seen telling a rather sheepish looking Paul to get a shirt on.

In Qatar, it is customary to cover up when in public places, and is seen as disrespectful if people have their legs or shoulders on display.

Paul is a pretty well known figure in the world of football, and went viral last week after posting some pics of him soaking up the sun on the beach.

In one pic, Paul is seen holding an England flag, while in another he's taking it easy on a bench.

The fan was ordered to cover up during the match.

The snaps were accompanied with the caption: "Fully exposed again and totally legal , spreading the gospel for club and country."

England came out on top against Wales tonight, with a 3-0 win in their final group game of tournament.

Marcus Rashford scored twice, with Phil Foden bagging one from a Harry Kane assist.

The win puts England at the top of the group, while the United States came in second place.

Both sides with now go through to the knockout stages, where England will play Senegal on Sunday (4 December), and the US will go up against the Netherlands.

This comes after a former Miss Croatia came out and said people should respect her way of life over her choice of outfits at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.

Ivana Knoll is a huge fan of her native Croatia team and often goes to games dressed in the colours of her country's flag, with a whole range out outfits adorned in the red and white check marks of Croatia.

She shot to fame after being spotted in the crowd at previous World Cups and has journeyed to Qatar for her third tournament in a row, but some of her outfits have come in for criticism as they've clashed with the nation's dress code.
