When's the right time to take down your Christmas decorations?
While some Brits like to leave theirs up way past new year, others are desperate to get them down and get the house back to some normality as soon as the big day is over.
Over on parenting forum Mumsnet, one woman explained she was desperate to get her Christmas decs down on Boxing Day, but admitted she might not take them down until New Year's Eve.

"I am always itching to do it on Boxing Day. I don't, but I want to," she wrote.
"I usually last until New year's Eve, but I think this year has felt really unchristmassy and I want everything taken down now! I will keep it up for the kids but does anyone else just want it all put away?"
And the topic certainly divided other Mumsnet users, with everyone having a different opinion on when they should come down.
Many said they'd already started taking theirs down, with one writing: "Ours are half down, we’re going away for New Year tomorrow and I don’t want to get back in January and still have them up."

And another said: "I would love to take them down today, but we have family visiting for lunch on Thursday."
And a third added: "Ours are coming down tomorrow, it would be today but I’m trying to force myself to rest. The clutter is too much now."
Many people were adamant that they should stay up until the twelfth night, which is 6 January.

"12th night. Christmas has only just started!" one person wrote.
And another added: "They went up on Christmas Eve and will come down on Twelfth Night. The 12 Days of Christmas are the most restful part of our year. Feasting, friends and no work!"
A third wrote: "How sad! Christmas has only just begun and many people are off work/school for the coming week. Why wouldn't you see this as the festive period? Eat, drink and be merry while you can, before life goes back to normal after new year."
Others opted for somewhere inbetween, with many choosing to take theirs down in the new year.

It's unlikely we'll ever agree on when to start packing away the tinsel and baubles, so you do you.
