World's biggest sperm bank where you could receive £420 a month opens centre in the UK

World's biggest sperm bank where you could receive £420 a month opens centre in the UK

The new location offers an 'immersive experience'

The world’s biggest sperm bank where you could receive a whopping £420 a month is opening a centre in the UK.

Complete with VR Porn, the new state-of-the-art venue should help Britain out with its shortage of donors.

Cryos International is the world’s largest sperm and egg bank, offering delivery to over 100 countries around the globe.

And it’s chosen glorious Manchester as the city for its first UK location.

But, while you might be eager to make good use of your wa*king, only a small percentage of applicants will be allowed to donate.

The centre is committed to having diversity in sperm donors and so is open to applications from men of all ethnic backgrounds between the ages of 18 to 45.

However, the screening process for donors is so rigorous that just five to 10 percent will be accepted.

So, let’s say you do make it through and become a sperm donor for Cryos International, you’ll step inside a ‘sleek and discreet’ donation room.

They’ve tried to make it different to typical ‘sterile and clinical’ environments because let’s be real, that’s hardly going to help get you going.

Instead, the Manchester spot has ‘gentle lighting and cosy soft furnishing’ as you drop off your swimmers. Plus, VR headsets offer an immersive experience as Cryos boasts a ‘premium subscription to PornHub’.

Almost unsurprisingly, clinical research from the famed sperm bank finds this use of VR Porn can both improve quality and increase sperm count by up to 50 percent.

As is the UK policy, donors are compensated up to £35 per donation to cover expenses. And the bank encouragingly says that if three donations are made a week, up to £420 can be made each month.

There are limits to sperm donation in the UK though as donated sperm cannot be used to create more than 10 families – without any limits on the number of kids born within each family.

Donors can also choose a lower limit if they want to.

It’s also important to know that a change in the law in 2005 means you can’t anonymously donate and those conceived can find out their donor’s name, date of birth and last known address when they turn 18.

This Manchester location comes at a time when the UK has seen a huge increase in births from sperm donation, despite donation numbers ‘being at an all-time low’.

Cryos International CEO Jacob Axel Nielsen said: “The opportunity to donate sperm and help someone fulfil the dream of having a child, is a feeling like no other, and as a sperm donor, you help people around the world with achieving their dream.”

He added: “At Cryos we focus on safety and transparency, and we make sure that, as a donor, you feel secure throughout the process.

“Whether donating is something you’ve been considering for a long time or a completely new idea, our welcoming team is ready to help guide you through the process with all the information and support you could require.”
