In case you're one of the very few people out there who has no idea what McDonald's Monopoly is, here's a brief introduction: basically, qualifying purchases come with a peel-back sticker attached to them, which have 'instant wins' on them or codes you can use online to claim bigger prizes.
Others are 'collect to win' stickers, and you'll need two or three of these to bag a prize.

Now, we've not had very much about what customers can hope to win this year, but in the past they have given away anything and everything, from a free meal and a £50 voucher to a Mini Cooper and £100,000 cash.
And if that wasn't interesting enough, a former Maccies employee recently lifted the lid on the so-called 'secret menu' items.

The idea of a 'secret menu' has been floating around for quite a while now, and includes such delicacies as the 'Land, Sea and Air Burger', which brings together beef patties, chicken and a Filet-o-Fish.
However, some people say they have been put off asking just in case it turns out to be a load of rubbish, and they get laughed out of their local restaurant.
Well, a fella named Jack, who claims to have worked at the Golden Arches between 2015 and 2019, recently took to Quora to clear up a few things.
And it seems those that exercised caution before attempting to order a Mega Mac or Land, Sea and Air Burger were right to do, because he says 'there isn't a set secret menu at McDonald's'.

But before you get too downbeat, he did say you can pretty much ask for whatever you want and the staff will try their best to create it for you.
He wrote: "You have the ability to customise almost anything on the menus.
"Thanks to social media, I have customers ask for crazy items such as the 'Mega Mac' or the 'Land, Air and Sea Burger'.
"This isn't on our menu nor are we trained to create these orders. I usually ask the customer what the item consists of and what they would like to add. I usually remember these items for the next person that asks."
