Model convinced police 'would kill her' after £1 million of drugs found in her luggage

Model convinced police 'would kill her' after £1 million of drugs found in her luggage

Tereza Hluskova was arrested in 2018 in possession of 19 lbs (8.5kg) of heroin at Lahore's AIIama IqbaI International airport

A Czech model thought police 'would kill her' after finding £1 million of drugs in her luggage.

Tereza Hluskova, then aged 22, was arrested in 2018 after being found in possession of 19 lbs (8.5kg) of heroin at AIIama IqbaI International airport in Pakistan while on her way to Ireland via Dubai.

Despite being sentenced to eight years and eight months in a Pakistani prison in 2019 - she was released in 2022 following a series of appeals.

The model has now uploaded a series of videos online to 'let people know what really happened'.

Prior to the incident, Czech-born Hluskova revealed that after dropping out of school, she worked as a private escort in Belgium after a woman called Sara took her 'under the wing… to check whether I was suitable for the job'.

She claims that Sara forced her to down drugs and alcohol in order to cope with the job, and made the model sleep with her husband to check if she was 'worth it or not'.

Hluskova was later sent to stay in Manchester with a man from Pakistan who was arranging her a visa to the country so she could work there as an erotic model.

"Now I wonder how I could have been so stupid that there were such detours when it was supposed to be a direct flight from England to Pakistan," she admitted.

"But I didn't realise it at the time."

Describing the photoshoot, she said: "They took me to a kind of field where there was only dirt and four big stones.

"Well, I thought to myself that they probably don't have money for a studio."

She spent two months waiting for the photos to appear online but 'they were never there'.

After finally being told she could return home, Hluskova claims was unaware that someone had put the narcotics into her luggage.

At the airport, almost 9kg of heroin was found in her suitcase.

Of the police, she said: "I thought they were going to kill me. I admire the person who comes out of prison and is completely fine.

"I still have it [the experience] inside me. Now and then I remember how they woke us up, how the girls beat us and how cold it was there.

"I had no medical help, I had to help myself, I was crying. I'll have it in me for the rest of my life."

Hluskova - who now works as a waitress - said: "Now I have a job, I have a boyfriend and I've dyed my hair blonde again.

"A person who has been in prison for four years has to get used to socialising again."
