Woman gets stuck in rubbish bin after wild night out

Woman gets stuck in rubbish bin after wild night out

We've all bin there...

A woman in Australia has had a night out to remember - or forget, depending on whether you're a bin half full or half empty kinda person.

Many of us have lost our phones after a few too many while out on the tiles, but it's a much smaller section of society that has inadvertently dropped their device in a bin and then subsequently found themselves stuck in said bin. In other words, we ain't bin there.

But please, enjoy this rare spectacle here:

The woman in question was out and about in Surfers Paradise, in Queensland's Gold Coast, when she somehow managed to drop her phone in the bin.

Of course, you're not just gonna let it go like a piece of chewing gum or something - you're gonna dive right in and try and get that b*****d back.

Unfortunately, it seemed getting out was much harder than getting in.

Footage recorded by a passerby shows the woman's legs dangling from the receptacle as a 'concerned' friend watches on.

In the video, said friend can be heard saying, 'No wait, did you find it or no?', while the fella recording asks: "What the hell is going on here?"

To be fair, she does look well and truly lodged there, and a part of you might feel bad for laughing, unsure if this bin is now her permanent residence.

A deeply concerned pal watches on.

However, Daily Mail Australia reports that the bloke who recorded the video eventually helped her out of the bin.

So whoever that man is, what an absolute bloody hero. Not only did he save the woman from a lifetime of bin-feeding, he also did the good thing and recorded the beautiful spectacle and circulated it online beforehand, for the world to enjoy. Thank you, bin-woman-saving man.

Unsurprisingly, the video has attracted a lot of attention on social media.

The video was posted on Facebook by 9News, where it attracted more than 1,700 comments.

One viewer wrote: "I did something similar in the Brisbane cbd dropping my keys in the bin. I was very lucky though cause the thing was unlocked at the side. Poor girl that would be an awful situation she's in."

Another said: "When you realise there was one chicken nugget left in the bag*"

A third added: "Well, the bin does say waste on it, maybe she thought that was for wasted people to park?"
