Taylor Swift will 'travel back to US in time' to be at the Super Bowl tonight

We all know Taylor Swift is an unstoppable force in music, but it seems she might be just as unstoppable when it comes to defying time and travel restraints to get back to support her man.

The pop star, 34, has been spotted at several of the Kansas City Chiefs games throughout the past season cheering on her other half, Travis Kelce - so she's hardly going to miss the biggest one, is she?

There's just one slight problem with getting Taylor to Las Vegas' Allegiant Stadium on time today (11 February), though.

The Bad Blood singer was on stage in Tokyo, Japan last night and she's got a pretty long way to go to get home and into her seat for the Super Bowl.

Hot on the heels of her success at the 2024 Grammys, she hopped on a plane for a four-day jaunt in East Asia for a series of gigs as part of her global 'Eras Tour'.

And bare in mind, Tokyo is a whopping 17 hours ahead of Nevada.

While Travis will have woke up yesterday morning in Las Vegas after an early night psyching himself up for millions of people to watch him play in the Super Bowl, Taylor will only just be getting off stage when it turns midnight in Tokyo.

So, it's a bit of a logistical nightmare to say the least, as well as being Cinderella-esque.

But if anyone can do it, it's Taylor Swift.

She's also heading off on the Australian leg of her tour in just a few days, but let's not even go there right now.

Swifties can stop panicking that she might not make it, as they may have forgotten that the billionaire has an army of staff, a private jet and more cash than she can shake a stick at.

She should make it back to Las Vegas with plenty of time if she is bundled off stage and put straight into a car to whizz her to the airport to hastily hop on a flight back to the US.

Travis does reckon she's his 'good luck charm', so it's pretty pivotal for the Chief's that she's there tonight.

So, how will she do it?

Today show host Jenna Bush Hager reckons that she's got Taylor's high-speed itinerary all worked out and shared her thoughts with viewers.

She explained: "The doors open at her concert at 6pm at the Tokyo Dome. A typical Taylor show goes until midnight.

"So if she goes directly to the airport after she's done with the concert, she pops on that plane of hers...it will be around 7am Saturday morning in Vegas. This flight, it's not short. It's anywhere from 10 to 14 hours.

"So then she would land in Vegas around 9pm Saturday night - she could change, she could go to some pre-parties...so the answer is, she could do it. If anybody could do it, it's her. We think Taylor can make it!"

And if you want a bit more solid confirmation that the A-lister will make it back in time to give her man a good luck kiss, just take a look what the Embassy of Japan in the United States have to say about it all.

In an official statement, the embassy took to X (Twitter) to give an insight into Taylor's scheduling situation.

A spokesperson said: "The Embassy of Japan in the United States is aware of recent media reports concerning the steps Taylor Swift will need to take to travel from Tokyo after her concert on February 10th to Las Vegas in time to watch the Kansas City Chiefs play in Super Bowl LVIII.

"Despite the 12-hour flight and 17-hour time difference, the Embassy can confidently Speak Now to say that if she departs Tokyo in the evening after her concert, she should comfortably arrive in Las Vegas before the Super Bowl begins.

"We know that many people in Japan are excited to experience Taylor Swift's Eras Tour, so we wanted to confirm that anyone concerned can be Fearless in knowing that this talented performer can wow Japanese audiences and still make it to Las Vegas to support the Chiefs when they take the field for the Super Bowl wearing Red."

NFL directors will certainly have their fingers crossed that the superstar makes her way to the game, knowing the pull she has and the sheer number of Swifties that will tune in.

So step on it, Taylor!
