Logan Paul wins Dillon Danis fight after security storm the ring

Dillon Danis vs Logan Paul took place this evening (14 October) at a sold-out Manchester AO Arena.

Logan Paul picked up a comfortable victory over Dillon Danis after the MMA fighter was disqualified.

Finally, after months of personal insults, including Danis' online vendetta against Paul’s fiancee, their highly anticipated match finally took place this evening (14 October) at a sold-out AO Arena.

The sixth and final round saw Danis try to illegally pull Paul to the ground before security stormed the ring.

The boxing rivals were on the undercard for the main event - Tommy Fury vs KSI.

While we are all aware that boxers pretend to hate each other in order to sell a fight, one might argue that Danis and Paul's beef has been as real as it gets as tensions boiled over on Thursday (12 October) when the cage fighter looked to hit Paul with a microphone during their press conference in Manchester.

It seems that the YouTuber was the first to provoke Danis as he initially launched a mic at him.

Shortly after, Danis connected with the side of Logan's head which started to draw blood.

Thankfully, Logan was fine and the pair arrived at the weigh-in a day later (13 October) in great shape.

Well, on the night, Paul pretty much dominated rounds one to six as the MMA man barely lay a glove on the YouTuber.

It was a cagey performance from Danis who mocked Jake Paul's older brother by lying on the floor in round three.

Commentator Ariel Helwani said during the fight that 'Danis lives on the internet' and just wanted to go the distance with the WWE superstar.

Helwani said Danis 'has done nothing'.

"Denis is making him (Logan) look like Roy Jones Jr at the moment," the co-commentator added.

Meanwhile, the main event is of course, KSI vs Fury.

Before tonight’s fight, the Love Island star is unbeaten in his boxing career, having recently defeated Jake Paul in Saudi Arabia back in February.

However, KSI’s huge presence in the YouTube boxing scene has meant that a match-up with Tommy was always going to happen.

KSI – real name Olajide Olayinka Williams "JJ" Olatunji – has previously fought his now-business partner Logan Paul twice, as well as a number of other fellow creators and low-ranked professional boxers.

“We all know what’s going to happen,” said the younger brother of heavyweight champion, earlier this week.

“There’s no way this man can live with me. Who’s he fought? He’s fought a rapper and the rest are YouTubers. What is going on?

“In this boxing world, he is a bum. I’m not interested (in him). I’m levels above these guys. I’ve got every single advantage: bigger, stronger, reach, weight. This will be an early night, I promise you.

“I’ve trained like a demon for 10 weeks for this man and I’ve sparred everybody, I’ve been sparring Tyson, been sparring the whole lot of them.”

He added: “I’m in the crossover world of boxing, it’s a circus act… We know what we’re in for. I’m here to fight. Cut all the other bulls***, we’re fighting in two days, the talking is done.”
