Tyson Fury had an incredibly honest reaction after witnessing Anthony Joshua knockout Francis Ngannou.

Joshua took home the win in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia last night, taking his boxing record to an impressive 28-3-0 with a mega 25 wins by KO.

And amongst the stars and fans watching was Fury in the front row – who is still yet to face the Brit in the ring.

The Gypsy King previously fought Ngannou back in October at the Kingdom Arena, winning a close decision on the judges’ scorecards.

That was controversial though, after he was knocked down by the Cameroonian which led some boxing fans to believe that he didn't deserved to be champ.

But AJ absolutely KO’d Ngannou in their fight, leaving him needing medical treatment, and respectfully waited for him to be confirmed as ok before he celebrated the win.

And despite plenty of talk of rivalry and showboating between the pair, Fury actually had praise for Joshua following the fight.

As reported by Michael Benson of talkSPORT, Fury told DAZN: "I'm sure Oleksandr Usyk will have something to say something about that. I had a s*** performance against Ngannou. AJ did absolutely fantastic and lit him up with a right hand.

“If he fights me after I beat Usyk twice then it will be a different game."

So yeah, there is still talk of Fury and Joshua fighting but we’re yet to see that arranged for definite.

The Gypsy King has two bouts with Usyk scheduled for the undisputed heavyweight titles in the pipeline, after postponing the first because he got a cut in sparring.

Fury is now set to face the Ukrainian on 18 May at the Kingdom Arena – with a rematch clause in the deal.

And then, maybe he’ll finally be fighting Joshua. He did provide an update on a face-off between the pair though.

“There's quite a long way to go, there's always been a lot of s*** getting in the way of it,” Fury said.

“I've got bigger fish to fry, 18 May, then we have a rematch in October. After that, if he's still available and I'm available, let's get it on.”

The two boxers were last set to fight in December 2022 after a lot of calling out on X but as you’ll remember, that never happened.

Given Fury’s fights set with Usyk, perhaps we’ll see what is dubbed ‘the biggest fight in British boxing history’ take place next year.
