A year late, but Euro 2020 is in full swing, with the tournament moving into the knockout stages this weekend.
But while France sailed into the next round, things weren't so simple for a group of their fans, who missed a recent match after going to the wrong city. Mon Dieu!
According to reports, six French supporters were left bitterly disappointed when they headed to Budapest for their team's group match against Hungary.

Sadly, none of them thought to check their maps, as while they were supposed to end up in Budapest, Hungary, they actually arrived in Bucharest, Romania, some 500 miles away.
Speaking to the Romanian outlet Jurnalul, the fans said they had followed another group of supporters from the airport into the city centre, thinking it was a sure fire way to get to the stadium.
Unfortunately for them, they had followed Ukraine fans, who were waiting around in Bucharest until their games against North Macedonia and Austria.
They told the publication: "We thought they were Hungarian fans going to the game and we followed them, thinking that as they were from the city they knew the way to the stadium.

"We never thought they were Ukrainians.
"Now I realise we couldn't even figure it out. We don't know Hungarian either, and we don't know Ukrainian or Russian. They are just as foreign to us."
Adding: "We have to learn more about Europe."
In the end, the lads decided to stay put and watch the match from Bucharest.

But they're not the only fans to have had a bit of a rough time during the tournament.
A bunch of mates were cheering on the Netherlands in their recent game against Austria when their neghbours decided to have a laugh at their expense.
Sat in their garden with a bunch of pals and a big screen, they had the perfect set-up. Perfect, that is, except for the stream they were using to watch the match.

Now, this wouldn't have been such a big issue if another group in a flat above weren't also watching the same game... 30 seconds ahead.
And the pranksters up above couldn't help themselves when the opportunity arose for a wind-up.
In a video posted by Carlos van Erven to his Instagram account, the lads can be seen watching on as the Netherlands miss a gilt-edged chance to go two goals up against the Austrians.
But rather than offering the typical groan when presented with a miss, these fans start screaming and roaring as if the Dutch player had doubled the lead and not ballooned it over the bar.

Hearing the commotion, the group below jump to their feet anticipating the goal, one that doesn't come.
When it doesn't, the jokers burst out laughing.
