Prime spotted on Spar shelves as drink set to hit stores next week

The viral drink has been selling out for weeks

The excitement around the viral sell-out drink Prime has hit new levels of hysteria as keen fans try to find upcoming stockists of the drink.

A Twitter account dedicated to the hydration drink has revealed the sought-after drink will be on sale in Spar again from next week, as well as showing the drinks on sale in a Wrexham store.

The drink comes from YouTubers Logan Paul and KSI.

In a screenshot from a leaked internal message to Spar stores, the Prime Tracker Twitter account has claimed the drink will be available in three flavours from Spar as early as the first week of January.

The screenshot reads: "We have an extremely limited supply of 3 flavours of Prime Drinks which will be allocated to stores next week. The stock has proven to be hugely popular when it has previously been sold in Aldi and Asda."

The alleged message warns Spar employees: "Due to the anticipated demand, we are asking all stores to limit the supply to one bottle per customer (including staff).

"Can all stores display this product behind the till to control the supply."

In another tweet from the same account, it revealed bottles were on sale at a Spar store in Wrexham.

The drink - created by former rivals KSI and Logan Paul - has been highly sought after since it launched, with bottles being resold online at hugely hiked-up prices of up to £30 for one bottle. Yep, really.

The product itself is a sports drink which comes in a variety of flavours, with zero added sugar, 10 percent coconut water and other added functionals such as BCAAs, electrolytes and antioxidants.

Thanks to influencers KSI and Logan having such a huge following, the drink - which retails for £2 - has become a viral craze and a rare treasure that many fans are desperately trying to hunt down.

Despite the drink proving popular with buyers, the duo have revealed they haven't made any money from the sell-out beverage.

KSI - real name Olajide Olayinka Williams 'JJ' Olatunji - claimed the pair hadn't made any money as he shared his annoyance at resellers selling the £2 drinks for prices ranging from £11.95 to £30.

Yikes.
eBay

Sharing a screenshot on Twitter of resellers on eBay listing the Prime drinks, he wrote: "This annoys me so much. We’re trying so hard to increase the supply as much as possible to try and combat the black market selling.

"Me and Logan ain’t made any money from Prime. It’s all going back into the business to increase the supply. We’re trying people."

Aldi recently sold the drink as part of a one-time offer for its Special Buys, causing shoppers to queue at stores and resulting in chaotic scenes in stores from shoppers desperate to buy a bottle.
