Stunned Passengers Scream As Chaos Breaks Out On Flight To Amsterdam

Fists flew as passengers watched on in horror

A flight to Amsterdam descended into chaos after a huge brawl broke out between passengers. Watch here:

The flight set off from Manchester yesterday, 5 May, and was headed for the Dutch capital – but the short trip across the North Sea was marred by a scrap between two groups of 'unruly passengers'.

Footage posted on social media – which has been viewed almost two million times – shows at least four men grappling across the seats and swinging a flurry of punches at one another.

All the while, passengers can be heard screaming and urging the men to pack it in, while staff and members of the public attempt to break up the brawl.

Airline KLM said the cabin crew and the captain had to step in to put an end to the fight, and all involved were arrested upon arrival at Schiphol Airport.

A spokesperson told LADbible: "[Yesterday] We had some unruly passengers on our KLM 1070 flight from Manchester to Amsterdam.

"The captain and cabin crew put an end to a brawl between two groups of passengers.

"All involved were arrested upon arrival at Schiphol Airport. No delay occurred.

"KLM does not tolerate aggression against employees or passengers. We apologise to our passengers who may have been affected by the incident."

The fight broke out en route to Amsterdam.

Earlier this week, a man who groped two flight attendants and punched a third on a flight in the US was jailed.

Maxwell Berry was sentenced to 60 days in jail over his behaviour on a Frontier Airlines flight from Philadelphia to Miami last July.

The trouble began after the 23-year-old ordered a third alcoholic drink and brushed his empty cup against the behind of a flight attendant.

He then managed to spill his drink on his shirt, went to the bathroom, and came out without a shirt on.

He proceeded to walk around the plane for about 15 minutes, before groping two flight attendants on at least two occasions and punching a male flight attendant, according to authorities.

Berry was subsequently taped to a chair for the remainder of the flight.

He groped and assaulted flight attendants.

Jordan Galarza, the flight attendant who was punched by Berry, described the 60-day sentence as 'a disgusting miscarriage of justice'.

Speaking to WPLG Local 10 News on Tuesday, 3 May, he said: "You can say it [the taping] looked a bit barbaric, but it worked perfectly and no one got hurt because of how we did what we did.

"He made an enemy of everyone on that flight.

"The people on that aircraft saw justice happen – more than what we saw today."
