A woman found out the hard way why it's not always wise to do everything TikTok tells you to.
The social media giant is indirectly responsible for putting countless people in compromising and uncomfortable positions, such as this:
Olivia Cormier, from California, wanted to see if she was able to recreate the mobility trend that's been doing the rounds online.

The stunt involves the person getting their legs over their heads while they're suspended in the air.
So yeah, it's not for everyone.
However, while the 21-year-old seems to be a pretty agile person, her attempt doesn't quite go according to plan.
In a post to her social media page, Olivia can be seen hanging from a set of bars, readying herself to swing her legs up in the air.

After getting both her feet up to the bar, she then moves her left leg, hanging it over her arm, with her right leg dangling down.
And a clear look of utter panic lights up across her face, with Olivia not sure how she's going to get back down.
Fortunately, though, after a few seconds of shaking and flailing, she manages to flip herself back over, and landing her feet back down safely.

Since the video was posted, it has been viewed millions of times, with users left feeling very uncomfortable as a result.
"Nooo my heart just skipped a beat," wrote one person.
With Olivia replying: "Mine skipped like 12!"
While another added: "I'M DEAD."

Some, however, just thought it was funny.
One user admitted: "I shouldn’t have laughed… but I did."
Others who watched the clip suggested that Olivia should have just let go of the bar as soon as she got herself in the awkward position.

Not everyone agreed, though.
"To all those saying 'just let go' it’s not that easy," said one person in defence of Olivia.
With another adding: "I would’ve attempted a Spider-Man landing and probably would’ve failed horribly."
But this isn't the only TikTok trend that people have been warned about in recent weeks.
Earlier this month, university-goers were warned of the new 'BORG' trend after a number of the University of Massachusetts students were taken to hospital in the US.
Also known as 'blackout rage gallons' - the trend sees students fill up plastic gallon containers with a mix of alcohol, water, and electrolytes.
The theory is to dilute the alcohol so you don't get too drunk before binge-drinking the contents.
However, students are falsely assuming they aren’t drinking a lot, as Borgs typically contain a fifth of alcohol which equates to roughly 16 drinks.
And AP reported an incident involving the trend recently saw 28 ambulances get called out to an off-campus student party in Amherst, Massachusetts.
