Noel Gallagher has revealed he’s banned from China and that the country considers him ‘an enemy of the people’.
The Oasis star explained that around 20 years ago, he received a letter from China’s government informing him he wasn’t allowed to enter the country because he’d played at a Tibetan Freedom Concert in New York.
Gallagher said he’d been sent the letter because Chinese officials were worried he’d ‘spout some pro-Tibetan s**t,” but insisted that wouldn’t have been the case because ‘he’s not even interested in Tibet’.

Tibet, located on the northern side of the Himalayas, is a remote buddhist territory that’s been governed as an autonomous region of China since the 13th century.
As reported by the Daily Star, Gallagher said: “I’ve got a letter somewhere from the Minister of The Interior saying, ‘You are an enemy of the people,’ or something like that. The rest [of Oasis] were invited with open arms.”
Gallagher, 55, also revealed that the only reason he took part in the Freedom Concert was because no one else from Oasis wanted to.

“Oasis were on tour at the time and it was a day off and Oasis got asked to do it and no one else would do it so it was like I’ll do it,” he shared.
“I walked out on stage in front of 50,000 people and as I walked out I thought, ‘Why have I agreed to do this? I’m not even the f***ing singer’.”
Oasis’ lead vocalist is, of course, his brother Liam, who recently caught up with LADbible to talk about his new album, and revealed he’s often mistaken for Noel when out and about.
When asked what people most commonly say to him in the street, the 49-year-old replied: "Alright Noel."

He added: "That geezer, he hasn't had a scran for about 10 years, you know what I mean?
"He watches his weight and all that, and he's got his little skin programme, he has his Botox and all that - and I'm just walloping lagers, and having kebabs, and f***ing eating whatever and all that tackle.
"It must do his head in 'cause he's trying so hard man, trying so hard to be Noel Gallagher and people are just coming up and going, 'Alright Liam’.”

He went on: "You'd just be going like, 'What the f*** man, I've just done about 900 f***ing press-ups, and I haven't had a proper dinner for seven years, and I haven't drank lager for seven years, and you're thinking I'm him?!'"
