A man in a van is being hailed a 'legend' by some for using his vehicle to block a speed camera.
While some people are out there fighting climate change and writing musicals about dodgy royals, this bloke appears to be on a mission to block a speed camera operator's view.

The man in a van decided to conveniently take a break on the side of the road directly in front of a mobile speed enforcement camera van.

Casually sitting with his sunglasses on and sipping a Red Bull as the officer paces up to his van, the driver casually asks the policeman what's wrong.
Noticing he's being recorded, the officer jokes he's about the become 'a YouTube sensation', however the van driver definitely steals his limelight in the video which has since been uploaded by a user named Hafizur Khan.
Explaining why he's recording the discussion, the van driver says: "This is for our benefit not for yours. It's for our protection more than anything else, just like how you have your cameras and everything else."

The driver goes on to note he also 'disagree[s] with entrapment'.
"As far as I'm concerned, I'm just sitting here having my break, I'm off the highway. Not disturbing anybody. I disagree with what he's doing so I'm staying where I am," he adds.
The driver argues the speed camera is 'nothing to do with slowing people down' and is instead simply about 'making money'.

"If he can park where he is, I can park where I am. I'm not breaking any law," the van driver continues.
The police officer 'politely, kindly [...] and respectfully' tries to ask the van driver to move, but the request is to no avail.
Asking the officer if he's actually breaking a law, the policeman admits the van driver isn't if he's genuinely just having a break and not 'deliberately trying to obstruct the vehicle from doing what it's supposed to be doing'.

The van driver resolves: "Your perception of it is your perception of it. You're entitled to your opinion as I am. I'm against entrapment. [...] As soon as my break is over and I feel I want to move, I'll carry on about my morning."
After another few attempts and failing to ascertain how long the 'break' could be, the police officer gives up, nods at the driver and potters off.
Viewers have since flooded to the post in support of the van driver, with one resolving he's a, 'top man'.

"Why didn't he just move the speed camera? It's in a van that also has the ability to move," another questioned.
A third wrote: "Mate, that was quality! 100 percent respect for you."
However, one user pointed out: "What a nice fella.. But I'm sure if I lost a loved one due to RTA - speeding driver then I'd think differently. None of us are invincible..."
