Here's some of the exciting, incredible, interesting and wild events on during World Pride Sydney

We've curated a list, so you know what's happening during the 17-day festival.

If you’re struggling to think of what to do when World Pride takes Sydney by storm, do not fret, as we have you covered.

It’s Sydney’s turn to host the 17-day festival, which kicks off on Friday February 17, with a list of events championing diversity and equality.

Whether you’re after a queer day party to wear just about every colour under the sun or you’re craving something slightly more bougie (perhaps a theatre show and a glass of pinot gris?) there's really something for everyone.

Parties

Opening Party February 24

This show is one of the best ways to commence the shimmery month.

Casey Donovan and Courtney Act will host while Kylie Minogue, Charli XCX, and Jessica Mauboy will also be performing.

That's certainly, a lot of star power in one room!

This will be held at the Domain in Sydney and will last from 3pm until 11pm.

"The concert starts at 7pm, but your ticket gets you entry to The Domain from 3pm where you can enjoy the food and beverage offering on-site and pre-show entertainment in the company of your friends and family," the event says.

Horden Pavillion February 25

This Moore Park venue is expected to transform into an ultimate adult playground later this month and feature some of the best local and international DJs.

Also, expect special guests that will sweep you off your feet.

Domain Dance February 26

This seven-hour dance party will be one of the biggest LGBTQI+ events the nation has ever thrown.

Taking place at, you guessed it - in the open airs of Domain - Kelly Rowland will join the best local and international DJs that will have you partying up with thousands in the crowd.

It's held from 3-10pm.

Bondi Beach Party March 4

For one day only, the jewel of Sydney will become the city’s hottest club for 12,000 people and will feature some of the hottest DJs - so make sure you bring your dancing shoes.

Pop star Nicole Scherzinger will grace the stage, along with an all-Australian DJ line-up including dameeeela, Jarred Baker, Jacqui Cunningham, DJ Charlie Villas and DJ Dan Murphy.

Like the Domain Dance party, it will kick off at 3pm and ends at 10pm.

Closing Party March 5

What better way to conclude this spectacular month than with a seven-hour music event featuring some of the hottest acts right now?

Kim Petras, MUNA, Keiynan Lonsdale, G Flip, Peach PRC, Alter Boy, BVT, and Vetta Borne will be in attendance, just to name a few.

Big Events to Observe

Fair Day February 19

If you’re looking for a Jack of all trades event, look no further.

Fair Day will have a mix of party, picnic and amazing live music, with some eclectic market and food stalls for your pleasure.

This yearly event is usually the starting gun for Mardi Gras and with World Pride being this year you can expect it to be amazing.

Oxford St March February 25

The 'world-renowned Parade' is returning to Oxford Street 'in celebration of Sydney Gay and Lesbian Mardi Gras’ 45th anniversary'.

There will be groups and floats that will shimmy up the arterial road in Surry Hills/Darlinghurst that will represent the incredibly diverse LGBTQIA+ community.

The event page says: "As the biggest event of the Sydney WorldPride festival, all eyes will be on our 12,500 marchers as 200+ floats adorn Oxford Street for the first time since 2020.

"Expect all your Parade favourites, from the famous rumble of the Dykes on Bikes to the quintessentially Australian Lifesavers With Pride, and the many wonders of our LGBTQIA+ communities."

It goes from 6pm until 11pm.

Harbour Bridge March March 5

If you’re looking to celebrate with friends while making a statement, what better way than to attend the Pride March?

Around 50,000 people are expected to march across the iconic landmark (north to south), wearing the loudest outfits and their brightest colours.
