Sun, mates & ice cold Jim Beam and Cola...name a better combo.

Jim Beam’s recent partnership with Surfing Australia is bringing the coastline to your coaster this summer.

Jim Beam has long been a crowd favourite of Aussie’s nationwide, there’s nothing better than coming together with your mates in summer to enjoy a few ice cold, refreshing Jim Beam & Colas while watching the waves crash in.

Speaking of which, we’ve curated the best beach bars in Sydney so you can ride the wave of summer as we come together.

Beach Road Hotel

A few streets back from the Promenade sits the legendary Beach Road Hotel, which is beloved by locals and visitors alike.

On the ground floor is a humongous space that can hold hundreds of people. There are loads of TVs to display any and every sport that is on at the time and plenty of tables and chairs to accommodate everyone.

If you get there on a sunny day then you’ve got to check out the outdoor area, which will allow you to soak up the rays while digging into some food and a crisp bevvy.

They have a mouth-watering menu that includes all your pub favourites like a chicken parmy, as well as a salmon poke bowl and a Tasmanian seared salmon dish.

Coogee Pavilion

There’s something quite magical about being at the Coogee Pavillion on a beautiful summer’s day.

It has three floors that offer incredible, diverse and delicious food and the rooftop allows you to have a drink with an amazing view of the ocean.

You can soak up some pub favourites while on the ground floor, while the middle has a fine dining restaurant called mimi’s, a cocktail bar called will’s, and a tapas restaurant called Una Mas.

There really is something for everyone at The Pav.

The Steyne

This delightful gem has been a part of Manly locals for a long time - 1859, to be exact and it’s not going anywhere anytime soon.

As one of the suburb’s oldest buildings, The Steyne became known as the ‘first-class family hotel’ and now offers a beautiful beachside bar with pub classic meals.

So if you’re in the mood for a cold bev and a cheeky parma, this is your one stop shop.

New Brighton Hotel

Located right on Manly Beach in Sydney’s northern beaches, New Brighton Hotel is an absolute must.

Here, you’ll find a wide range of spirits, craft beers, and, of course, Jimmy & Cola. They also offer alfresco seating with live tunes - perfect for entertaining the whole gang.

There are plenty more venues to check out post surf this summer. If you do, make sure to order a Jim Beam to share with mates and make the day just a touch better.

The Collaroy

Set right on the beachfront in Sydney's north, this laidback bar offers some of the best freshly shucked oysters and wood-fired pizzas.

This is the perfect place for an afternoon hang with the crew if you crave a little sun from their outdoor terrace. Here, you'll also find pub classics with a modern twist and beautifully locally sourced seafood.
