Eric Trump has made the outlandish claim that no one has done more for Christianity than his beloved father Donald Trump.
I don’t know man, have you heard of Jesus Christ?
While we all know the former POTUS considers himself a bit of a God to many, I’d hazard a guess that there are quite a few more people on that list ahead of him.

The former President’s son made the claim while speaking at a conservative event in Kentucky over the weekend.
Speaking at Freedom Fest 2022, Eric Trump praised his dad for standing up for 'religious liberty'.
He said: "In fighting for religious liberty, there's no one that's done more for Christianity than Donald Trump. No one."

Oh geez, yet another feather to pop into Trump’s ego-cap.
Freedom Fest included conservative speakers such as the businessman’s other son Donald Trump Jr, Candace Owens, and Kimberly Gilfoyle.
The event was largely attended by MAGA followers, who of course would love a festival that has the word ‘Freedom’ in it.
Sounds like hell on Earth.

From the outset of his political endeavours, Donald Trump has sought to appeal to Evangelical Christian voters and has intently attempted to meld the Republican Party with religion.
The MAGA political mindset has looked to lobby for extreme religious beliefs such as nominating Supreme Court justices who would overturn Roe v. Wade.
It’s not the first time Eric has used a religious agenda to attempt to get in daddy’s good books either.

Back in 2020, he told ‘What’s on Your Mind’ host Scott Hennen that his father 'literally saved Christianity' during the 'full out war on faith'.
Get a grip.
His most recent comments have rightfully copped a lot of flack online.
Jesse Ferguson, a Democratic strategist who served under Hilary Clinton, tweeted: ":12 apostles have entered the chat:"
Another Twitter user commented: "That Jesus guy must be so grateful. He was an absolute no one until Trump made him what he is today."

Whilst another said: "Nothing to see here. It's a well-established fact that the ‘Christianity’ of such claims refers only to a narrow set of cultural and political values, and not to the global, historical faith centred on the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Carry on."
According to Newsweek, back in February Eric claimed his ideal dinner guest would be Jesus Christ.
Perhaps his own father has overtaken Jesus on that ranking as well.
