A woman who has lived in the same house for just under 105 years has hinted that she doesn't plan on going anywhere anytime soon, predicting 'they'll take me from here'.
I suppose if you've already committed to something for over a century, you might as well stay put.
Elsie Allcock was born in the Huthwaite home back in 1918 and has been there ever since.

So, when Elsie celebrates her 105th birthday next month, she'll also be celebrating her 105th year in the Barker Street house.
Over her lifetime, the great-great-grandmother has had two children, six grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren - all while living in the same terraced two-bed.
It's also the place she resided during both world wars, the first ever moon landing, the rise and fall of the Soviet Union, and a pandemic or two, as well as 22 prime ministers and now five monarchs!

She first lived there as the youngest of five children, then stayed to look after her dad after her mum died of pneumonia.
She then eventually went on to live there with her husband Bill, who she married in 1941, paying just £250 for the property.
Speaking to The Sun last year, she recalled: "We didn’t have £250, so I went to the council and asked for a loan. They agreed and the house was ours."

"We kept the outside loo - it still works. Very little has changed. I wouldn’t have been happy anywhere else."
At this point, she says she's so familiar with it that she says she 'could make my way round it in the dark'.
Today the house is valued at around £75,000 - so quite a fantastic investment, overall!
Now, Elsie lives in the house with her one surviving son Ray, who was also born in the house and is now 76 years old.

Speaking to ITV about his mum's commitment to the house, Ray said: "You come in the house and you don't find her. She's either upstairs or in the yard doing something.
"I guarantee now if you look in her pocket there's a duster. She's always at it, you can't make her stop."
Elsie added: "I was born here and they'll take me from here.

"I never really wanted to move anyway."
To mark the special birthday and anniversary next month, Elsie plans to throw a big party in the house that she's known her whole life.
