Drug Dealer Caught After Smoking Joint Right Outside The Police Station

If there’s one place you don’t want to be caught doing anything illegal, it’s right outside a police station

This was the predicament a dopey drug dealer found himself in when he decided to spark up a spliff while stood by Worcester Police Station.

Whether he was trying to double bluff the cops is yet to be seen, but either way it didn’t take long for officers to smell the cannabis as it drifted outside their headquarters.

Just moments after Frank Crocker had lit up his joint on 25 February, he was arrested.

It wasn’t exactly a tough case to crack – a court heard how officers simply followed their noses after noticing the sus smell and found Crocker in an alleyway.

On Thursday (28 April), the drug dealer from Lowesmoor, Worcester, attended Worcester Magistrates’ Court where he pleaded guilty to possession of cannabis.

Holly Sims, prosecuting, said: "This relates to simple possession of a cannabis spliff found on the defendant."

She said the police first became suspicious after they left a Police and Communities Together (PACT) meeting.

"In leaving, they could smell a strong smell of cannabis coming from an alleyway,” added Sims.

"The defendant is on bail from the crown court for possession with intent to supply a class B drug."

Crocker said he is working closely with his probation officer to 'stop smoking'.

Crocker was also fined £50 and ordered to pay costs of £50 and a victim surcharge of £34.

Representing himself, Crocker told JPs: "I'm working closely with my probation officer to stop smoking. It's an ongoing thing."

The dealer is also currently waiting for a pre-sentencing hearing at Worcester Crown Court for more serious charges.

This includes his guilty plea to possession of cannabis with intent to supply and assault against a female victim.

The actual bodily harm offence against the woman occurred between 20 April and 3 May, 2021, while the cannabis with intent unfolded on 2 May of the same year.

Sentencing for these charges has been adjourned until 24 May.

In 2020, Crocker was jailed for more than 10 months for breaking a man’s jaw and then attacking his friend outside a pub in the area.

According to Worcester News, he broke the victim Tom Emblem’s jaw in two places with one punch.

Following the attack, Emblem attended A&E where he had to get three metal plates and a temporary wire implanted in order to hold his jaw together.
