Coca-Cola Christmas truck UK tour dates have finally been confirmed

Coca-Cola has announced the initial dates of its famous UK Christmas truck tour.

As well as Christmas movies being released onto Netflix long before 1 December, and trees and lights slowly adorning the streets and stores, you know Santa is truly coming to town when you spy Coca-Cola's red truck roaming the country to spread some festive fun.

Coca-Cola has revealed when its famous tour will begin and the first set of dates you can expect to catch a glimpse of it.

Coca-Cola's Christmas Truck Tour was cancelled in 2020 as a result of the coronavirus pandemic and while it returned last year, the amount of places it visited were reduced.

This year, it's back in full force and will be starting off its journey tomorrow, Friday 25 November, at Bluewater shopping centre in Kent.

The tour's second destination will be on 26 and 27 November in Newham, London at Sainsbury's Beckton.

25 November - Bluewater, Kent

26 and 27 November - Beckton, London

8, 9 and 10 December - Dublin, Ireland

16 and 17 December - Belfast, Northern Ireland

Fear not if you can't see a town or city near you listed, because the tally is simply the initial release of tour dates.

There's a handy Facebook page - with over 15,000 members - dedicated to Coca-Cola's Christmas Truck tour so you can stay up to date with the latest announcements and track the bus too.

Not only will you be able to get your hands on a refreshing drink of Coca-Cola Zero Sugar or Coca-Cola Original Taste when the truck visits a location near you, but there will also be interactive games to get involved with.

From free bottles of the fizzy drink, 'elfie selfies' to take and delicious food to munch on.

You'll also get the opportunity to add a short phrase or your name onto one of the original bottles.

Over 100,000 people are expected to flock to visit the Coca-Cola Christmas truck and the company has since partnered with FareShare - a foodbank charity redistributing meals to vulnerable people - hoping to donate the same amount of meals to the organisation per visitor who comes to see the truck.

The campaign is taking place under the slogan 'Your Presence is Your Present'.

FareShare CEO Lindsay Boswell said: "We’re incredibly grateful for the support from Coca-Cola. Their donation will help us get more good-to-eat surplus food to people across the UK most impacted by the cost of living crisis.

"We hope as many people visit the Coca-Cola Truck Tour this Christmas so that we can get more food to people who need it during what are challenging times for many."

Senior brand manager of The Coca-Cola Company, GB, named Laura Moon, stated: "Coca-Cola has always been synonymous with Christmas, particularly the iconic Truck Tour and Holidays Are Coming advert.

"This year, the magic of Christmas is needed more than ever, and we are excited to bring back our famous truck tour to fans nationwide."
