Dad spends £1000 on Prime for his two sons for Christmas

People are flooding to social media in disbelief after a dad spent £1,000 on Prime hydration drinks for his sons for Christmas.

People are flooding to social media in disbelief after a dad admitted to spending £1,000 on Prime hydration drinks for his sons for Christmas.

Across the country, people have been searching left, right and centre to get their hands on YouTubers KSI and Logan Paul's Prime Hydration drink.

With Aldi in scenes of chaos, a father and his two sons travelled to a newsagent store in Wakefield, England to find some of the bottles.

The dad may have initially told the shopkeeper he was 'alright' but with a £1,000 hole in his pocket all spent on hydration drinks, he may feel differently when reality sets in.

The father and sons travelled from Deptford to Wakey Wines with the sole purpose of purchasing some of the highly sought after Prime drinks.

In a video uploaded to TikTok by the shop, the sons revealed their dad spent a whopping £1,000 on the drinks as part of their Christmas presents.

The shopkeeper threw in a free bag of cold candy.

"You've got a good daddy yeah," the shopkeeper says, throwing in a free bag of cold candy with the rest of the grand's worth of supplies.

Viewers have been left astounded by the staggering amount the father spent on the drink for his sons.

One wrote: "£72 worth of prime for £1000, BUT they got some free cold candy. Makes up for it I guess."

"U know ur rich when u walk out of wakey wines with prime," another said.

A third commented: "Why? Just why?"

While a final resolved: "Bro that's worth £150 max."

Indeed, the price of Prime hydration drinks as well as people's frustration to get their hands on a bottle is rising - particularly after thousands of the bottles were destroyed after being found to not meet UK regulations.

KSI – real name Olajide Olayinka Williams 'JJ' Olatunji - released a video after learning some of the bottles were being sold for over £25 a pop.

People have being going wild and paying extortionate amounts on Prime hydration drinks.

He said: "20 quid per Prime? £145 - £25 per bottle bruv?! Fam, you’re getting ripped off! [...] Do not pay that much for Prime!”

"I know people want Prime, OK? Just wait – camp out [at] Asda, get in Asda nice and early and pay £2 for Prime. £2 is way better than £25 a bottle, what? Come on man, this is outrageous. You should not be paying £25 for one bottle of Prime.

"I know the demand for Prime has been outrageous, people have just struggled to get it. We’re working on increasing the supply but f**k me – do not pay £25 for a bottle, please."

I wonder what would the YouTuber would think about the dad's £1,000 Christmas haul?
