The best bars around Gold Coast

Jim Beam has announced its three year partnership with Surfing Australia, officially bringing the coastline to your coaster while celebrating the beach as everyone's local, continuing to immerse the brand in Aussie folklore.

What better way to enjoy the moment with mates than with one of these bad boys in hand while enjoying the sun and salty breeze?

There’s nothing more quintessentially Aussie.

Speaking of which, we’ve selected the top bars on the Gold Coast so you can enjoy a few good times with the crew this summer.

Burleigh Pavilion is one of the Gold Coast’s finest beach bars. This Burleigh bar sitting front on the waterfront is simply a must, as it offers great views, refreshing drinks and excellent service - you can’t go wrong.

Look no further if you want a place to enjoy some ice cold Jim Beam & Cola with mates - whether it’s post dip, surf or just cause.

Burleigh Bowling Club

On a hot summer’s day, nothing beats a cool beverage at this modern venue while partaking in a fun activity with the entire group. This bowling club lies in the centre of Burleigh, where all walks of life gather barefoot to enjoy a crisp drink in the sun.

Here, you’ll find satisfying Aussie pub meals if lawn bowls works up your appetite. Not to mention, the steak is always perfectly cooked.

Kirra Beach Hotel

This local landmark has been around since 1956 and reopened with a fresh new facelift. But rest assured, Kirra hasn’t forgotten who she is following her glow-up, as this trendy bar is still where all local surfers come to enjoy a crisp drink and chew the fat after a day out in the water.

Kirra Beach Hotel offers a second to none outdoor area alongside a restaurant where you can order a selection of delicious meals, all curated by renowned head chef Richard Whiting.

Surfers Beer Garden

Considering the name, it’s a given that surfers gather here after a long day of shredding the gnar.

In 1925, the renowned hotel entrepreneur James Cavill created the legendary Surfers Paradise Hotel, which has since transformed into one of the Gold Coast’s most iconic venues.

While you sit back and sip on a cold one, be sure to try their fresh seafood platter if you’re feeling like a snack.

The Island Rooftop

This is the Gold Coast’s largest open-air bar infused with good vibes and good times. Located right in the heart of Surfers Paradise, this venue boasts epic view’s of both the CBD and the coastline.

There’s always a range of events and live music here, in case you and the gang want to spice up your night. So, if you’re craving a drink under sunny skies, Surfers Beer Garden The Island Rooftop is a must.

There are plenty more venues to check out if you post surf this summer. If you do, make sure to order a Jim Beam to share with mates and make the day just a touch better.
