There’s no greater joy than peeling off those little black stickers on the side of your Maccies order, only to reveal you’ve won a carrot stick or a fruit bag, or maybe some chicken nuggets if you’re really lucky.
Among the top prizes to be won, is £100k in cash for four winners, and 2,000 ‘gold cards’, which gives you a free Maccies meal a week for a year… now that sounds like something we can get on board with!
But this year - there’s a twist.
McDonald’s have announced that customers will have the opportunity to trade in their stickers for another 'more frequently found property', or swap it for an entry into the £100k prize draw.

What else can be won, we hear you ask?
Customers can win an electric Mini, a £2K holiday with TUI, See Tickets £150 events voucher, AO.com £500 spend on home entertainment, True Wireless Earbuds from Skullcandy, experience day with Buyagift, and an Omen Gaming Laptop.
Also returning are the nine rare pieces to try and find: Mayfair (dark blue), Bond Street (green), Coventry Street (yellow), Strand (red), Liverpool St Station, Marlborough Street (orange), Euston Road (light blue), Northumberland Avenue (pink) and Old Kent Road (brown).
But how do you actually play the game?

Well, players who take part in McDonald’s Monopoly can collect the stickers on certain items of their order, which represent train stations or colour coordinated road names.
Each menu item has you in with the chance of winning a different prize, ranging from food, to massive cash prizes.
There are some exceptions to the game however.
The Monopoly doesn’t run through breakfast, so if you’re looking forward to peeling a sticker back on your McMuffin, think again.

Some of the stickers will have a ‘double peel’ feature, meaning that once you have peeled back the sticker, you can head over to the app and bank a property by scanning the sticker.
