The Chase has been on our tellies for nearly 15 years and like any popular game show, viewers have their suspicions.
There are a few conspiracy theories that have floated around about the ITV programme, but Paul Sinha has taken it upon himself to put a stop to one of them.
He debunked speculation that the Chasers - aka Mark Labbett, Darragh Ennis, Anne Hegerty, Shaun Wallace and Jenny Ryan - take a different approach during celebrity specials.

The Sinnerman says the stars that appear on the popular quiz show don't get any VIP treatment while they're competing.
Even though their cash prize is going to charity rather than in their pockets, the Chasers apparently aren't swayed by the sympathy vote and won't rig the game.
Sinha recalled how during an episode which aired in 2021, he stopped a famous face getting £15,000 for a cause which is close to his heart.
He told fans to rewind and remember when Boris Johnson's sister and journalist Rachel Johnson took him on alongside Giles Coren, TV presenter Chris Packham and comedian Josie Long.
The professional quizzer didn't manage to catch the 58-year-old in the Head-to-Head round, but he did knock out Packham so that he didn't make it to the Final Chase.

Johnson, Coren and Long then had a £45,000 prize to play for, which would be split between their chosen charities.

The trio managed to answer 17 questions correctly and secured multiple push backs to slow down the Chaser, but they ended up losing the hefty sum as The Sinnerman was just too quick for them.
Sinha explained that he wouldn't go easy on celebrity contestants just because of their status and the fact they are playing for charity.
The 53-year-old said in a post on X: "People who ask us if the Chasers play as hard when we're doing the Celeb shows - with 2 seconds to go, I once prevented Rachel Johnson from winning 15k for Parkinson's UK. A quiz is a quiz."
Despite being diagnosed with Parkinson's disease himself in May 2019, the doctor and comedian was more interested in playing to his fullest potential.

Some social media users were still unconvinced, but many found it hilarious that Sinha refused to be lenient.
One said: "This is David Goggins level mentality… have to respect it."
Another wrote: "People missing the irony here, Paul’s recently been diagnosed with Parkinson’s himself. Class that he can make jokes about it."
A third added: "I just don’t believe this. Chasers always make way more mistakes in the celeb version."

A fourth wrote: "I feel like it also wouldn't be fair to the regular contestants if you went easier on the celebrities."
And a fifth joked: "Ah, a proud day in the office Paul..."
Sinha also revealed that contestants 'absolutely do not' get harder questions if they opt to play for a larger cash prize.
