Fans work out what I’m A Celebrity producer told Nigel Farage after coming third

The former politician ended up in third place

Fans reckon they’ve worked out what an I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! producer said to Nigel Farage when he came third in last night’s final.

The former politician was the first to go out on last night's show, leading to a final between Tony Bellew and Sam Thompson, which Thompson ultimately won.

However, eagle-eyed fans noticed that just after he was given the news that he was in third place, a producer appeared and said something to Farage.

Viewers took to X to question what was going on, with one writing: "Me with the sound on full blast trying to understand what the producer said to Nigel."

While a second said: "Oh dear the producer talking to Nigel I wonder what was said."

But some viewers reckon they were able to catch exactly what was being said and claim the 59-year-old was being told to stay put.

A viewer said: “Ironic that the woman producer whispered to Nigel 'you must remain'."

Speaking to hosts Ant and Dec after earning himself third place, he said: “I’m absolutely thrilled, not everyone likes the stuff I’ve campaigned for and stood for over the years but we are all entitled to an opinion and I’m a human being like anyone else.

“I hope this programme has shown I’m as human as anyone else.”

Asked why he had signed up for the show this year, Farage said: “I had time to do it and I’m 60 next birthday and going to reach an age where you can’t do it.

“This is very physical, bringing buckets of water, doing the challenges, so now was the right time to do it and I’m very pleased I did. I did my best to show no fear at all in the challenges.”

During his time in camp, he butted heads with fellow campmate Nella Rose.

Speaking about his time in camp, following his exit, he went on: "It was interesting. Obviously there were people there that have very different views on Brexit and other subjects, and I never raised one political debate in there - not one in the whole time I was there.

"Others did with me, but I think I managed to persuade them that we should respect the right of the other person to have a different point of view.

"And I had no screaming arguments... But we had proper debates. And I think in the end, I hope, the other candidates respected my point of view."
