Amanda Holden once gave kid the red buzzer on BGT after he made brutal joke about her

Amanda Holden once gave kid the red buzzer on BGT after he made brutal joke about her

The savage joke on Britain's Got Talent left the audience and the judges stunned

Britain’s Got Talent has provided us with many memorable moments over the years, but one boy's audition really stands out.

Every comedian tends to target the judges when they appear on the BGT stage, but eight-year-old Ned Woodman left Amanda Holden and Simon Cowell open-mouthed with his savage jokes back in 2017.

Ned appeared on the 11th series of the hit ITV talent show, eventually making it through to the live shows.

He immediately made a big impression with his audition, having had the audience in stitches with his jokes.

Ned arrived on stage and initially portrayed himself as a quiet, sweet boy, leaving the judges cooing over him.

Before Ned even began his performance, Alesha Dixon said: "I love him already."

However, what followed left all four judges stunned.

Ned kicked things off by targeting Amanda, 53, and said: “Why were people so excited about that talking dog on Britain's Got Talent?

“Amanda Holden’s been on it for years.”

Every audience member visibly gasped and Amanda's jaw hit the floor in astonishment.

She then smashed her red buzzer as co-star Simon gave a standing applause, while fellow judges Alesha and David Walliams - who was replaced by Bruno Tonioli on the show - were in fits of laughter.

Amanda wasn't the only BGT star to be grilled by Ned, as next up were hosts Ant and Dec.

“I’m not sure which one is meant to be the funny one?” Ned savagely quipped, with the presenters laughing it off.

It was then comedian David's turn, with Ned saying: “I was really worried for David Walliams when he said he swam in the River Thames for charity, because of all that garbage going in his mouth.

“But since I’ve been watching BGT, I’m relieved it is all coming out again.”

Despite his personal jokes towards the BGT team, Ned's audition went down a storm with the judges and the audience, and he made it through to the next round.

He ended up making it to the final of season 11 of BGT, eventually coming in 10th place, with pianist Tokio Myers took home the win.

It seemed as though after the show, Amanda, who got grilled the most out of everyone, was thankfully able to see the funnier side of the joke.

When a clip of Ned's joke was posted to social media, Amanda quoted it and hilariously added: "WOOF", referring to Ned's savage joke about her.
