The ‘Worst Horror Film Ever Made’ Is Finally Being Removed From Netflix

The 'worst horror film ever made' is being removed from Netflix this August.

In news that perhaps doesn't come as much surprise to anyone, the 'worst horror film ever made' is set to be removed from Netflix this August.

If you love awful horror films, now's your chance to catch the 2019 flick Polaroid before it leaves Netflix for good.

With an impressively low rating of 0 percent on Rotten Tomatoes, it doesn't take much head scratching to work out why the film hasn't secured a firm spot on the streaming service.

Still, we'd argue it's worth a watch because nothing screams summer like a haunted polaroid camera.

For those of you not clued up on the snappy film, it follows: "High school loner Bird Fitcher [who] finds a vintage Polaroid camera that holds dark and mysterious secrets. She soon realizes that those who get their picture taken by it meet a tragic and untimely death."

We understand now why no one bought the camera for so long.

And now, it seems nobody is buying into the film because it will be leaving Netflix on 9 August.

It's going to change the way you look at polaroid cameras.

To be fair to the cast and crew, the film really could've gone either way on the streaming service because if Netflix has proved anything, it's that poorly reviewed films are having a renaissance.

And while we are totally here for it, people on Twitter aren't, with one user giving Polaroid a double thumbs down, so you know they mean business.

As the user articulately put it: "Yesterday i watched 'Polaroid' and i think it was one of the worst horror movies i've ever seen."

Another said: "This is easily the worst thing I have ever seen in my entire life, and the Polaroid photographs only make it look even more grungy and like a horror movie."

While a third chimed in with a pretty strong reaction: "In sharp contrast to The Mitchells vs. the Machines, the horror movie Polaroid is the dumbest, worst, most by the numbers piece of trite I've sat through in years. I'm getting mad at how f*****g nothing and ambitionless this movie is."

Another thought that the film deserved a full write-up, pointing out its flaws: "The long delayed 'Polaroid' is extremely generic and dull, but mostly avoids the pitfalls of the worst PG-13 horror films."

Look, even despite the bad reviews, we're still going to watch it and don't lie to yourself... you're going to be right there with us too.

Maybe we should all take a polaroid to celebrate?
