Selena Gomez says real stomaches are ‘coming the f**k back’

Selena Gomez says real stomaches are ‘coming the f**k back’

Many praised the singer for her powerful body positive message.

Selena Gomez has taken to TikTok to announce that Hot Girl Summer (for northern hemisphere folks) is upon us, and so are ‘real’ stomachs.

The Only Murder in the Building actor shared a video to show off her ‘real’ stomach along with her newfound unapologetic attitude.

While living her best off-duty life, Gomez was seen on a yacht, relaxing in a one-piece while capturing a voice-over telling her to ‘suck it in’.

To which Gomez responds: “I’m not sucking s**t in, is coming the f**k back, OK?”

Take that photoshop!

With the ‘Come and Get It’ singer’s body positive message, many praised her, with one person writing: “QUEEN ENERGY.”

Another said: “She’s the reason i’m so comfortable in my own skin.”

A third person commented: “you don’t realise how much this video helps us young women! Thank you !!”

While another wrote: “I never follow celebrities on TT because I don't want to mess up my algorithm lol. You have been my only exception to that.”

The Rare Beauty founder has been open about her ongoing body image issues.

While appearing on Ellen in 2015, Gomez opened up about the first time she had been fat-shamed on the internet, when gossip blogs criticised her weight gain after pictures of her in a hot pink bikini went viral.

“That was the first time I’d ever been called fat,” Selena revealed.

“But it was weird, because it’s not just, ‘Oh she’s fat.’ It’s like, ‘She’s a mess, she’s gone off the deep end.’ Because I’m on a vacation wearing a bathing suit?”

She added: “It’s so degrading.”

The singer said she clapped back at trolls by posting a follow-up bikini picture while holidaying in somewhere exquisite, (think Barbados or Mallorca) smiling at the camera.

She captioned the post: “I love being happy with me yall #theresmoretolove.”

To everyone sending hate her way, we’d love to see what you look like, considering trolls love posting a big white truck as their profile pic.

Yahoo! reports that Gomez posted a TikTok story earlier this year saying her weight doesn’t faze her, adding she ‘went to Jack in the Box and I got four tacos, three egg rolls, onion rings and a spicy chicken sandwich’.

She continued: "But honestly, I don't care about my weight because people [complain] about it anyway," Gomez continued. "'You're too small,' 'you're too big,' 'that doesn't fit.' 'Meh meh meh meh.'"

She added: "I am perfect the way I am. Moral of the story? Bye."
