Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has copped backlash for posting photos of the Sistine Chapel.
The model landed in hot water with the Vatican after she captured pictures inside the famous church and shared them with her 18 million followers.
The former Victoria's Secret Angel took a photo of Michelangelo's Renaissance artwork on her latest vacation with husband Jason Statham, along with the caption: "Rome, you were an absolute dream."

Many fans were quick to point out that British A-lister had broken the rules.
Clearly, someone was name-dropping here.
One person wrote: "How did you take pics inside the Sistine Chapel! I was there three weeks ago and they said no photography or videography."

Another said: "This is a no-no."
A third commented: "It would be interesting to see how you took that forbidden photo of the ceiling in the Vatican."
While another shared: "Very cute, but as far as I remember, photos in the Sistine chapel are not allowed."
According to news.com.au, the model's team confirmed she was granted permission to take a few snaps.

However, a spokesperson for the Vatican Museum begs to differ.
"The visit took place during the normal opening hours to the public. We confirm that photos and videos cannot be taken in the Chapel," they said.
Similarly, in 2022, many were left seething after Russel Crown was granted a private tour of the iconic chapel and posted a few pics.

The Aussie actor uploaded some pics to Twitter with the caption: "I’m not sure there’s a more special privilege in the world than to hold the key for the Sistine Chapel and to experience it’s glory in silence."
He added: "We were given access to rooms, perspectives and parts of the collection you don’t get to see as a regular tourist.
"As we squeezed into a tiny private elevator and ascended to a balcony few get to see, she squeezed my hand and said 'I wish your father was here'".
However, some users were less than pleased, as one person wrote: "It seems to me, however, that Rome is more at your service for now. Private visit, they let you take pictures in a place where it is categorically forbidden to. It's not very fair, don't you think?"

Another added: "So, the church gives privileges to rich and famous people while the plebs have to queue and swelter in the heat. Never mind taking photos."
While another chimed in: "Somebody explain please to the other 99 percent of human beings in the world, even those who where born in Rome, why they JUST CAN'T experience the wonder of the Sistine Chapel in silence, while he can."
