American rock band, the Red Hot Chili Peppers, recently commenced their tour around the globe in Spain, and in early 2023 they are set to bring their music and rock-and-roll attitude to the shores of Australia.
The band, formed in the early ‘80s, will perform their iconic catalogue of sounds, including their new album Unlimited Love.
The Red Hot Chili Peppers not only have fans spanning across the globe, but have a fairly impressive record.

The band boasts the most success in terms of number one singles, standing at 14, most top ten songs on the Billboard Alternative Songs chart, at 25, and they hold the record for the most cumulative weeks at number one, with an astounding 85 weeks, which is over a year and a half.
Additionally, having been honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in April of this year, the band has been solidified as one of the greats.
Lead vocalist Anthony Kiedis said: “Something happens when we come together which is much greater than the individual parts, we are much greater than the sum total of our parts.”
Red Hot Chili Peppers on Tour in Australia
The Chilli Peppers, who were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2012, will be hitting various stages throughout Australia’s cities in January next year following a stint in New Zealand.

Their tour will progress from Brisbane’s Suncorp Stadium on January 29, Sydney’s Accor Stadium on February 2, Melbourne’s Marvel Stadium on February 7, and finally to Perth’s Optus Stadium on the 12th.
Joining the Australian leg of the tour will also be multi-platinum rapper, singer, and songwriter Post Malone.
Post’s career, though not as extensive as the Red Hots’ as of yet, has seen the New York born rapper sell over 80 million records.
He's won 10 Billboard Music Awards, three American Music Awards, and received six Grammy Award nominations.

The Red Hot Chili Peppers haven’t performed in Australia since their last tour in 2019.
The Red Hots' release of Unlimited Love received a metascore of 71 on Metacritic and Post Malone copped a 68 Metacritic score for his newest album, Twelve Carat Toothache.
