While most employers expect you to be squeaky clean, Quentin Tarantino begged Margot Robbie not to wash her feet.
The Aussie actor spoke about the director’s strange request, which happened while she was filming Once Upon A Time... In Hollywood.
It’s not the first time the legendary filmmaker has been criticised for his obsession with celebs’ twinkle toes either.
In fact, it has often been speculated that Tarantino has somewhat of a foot fetish, with the director regularly showing actors’ feet on screen for no real reason.

The trope appears in some of the filmmaker’s earliest movies, with Uma Thurman going barefoot several times in Pulp Fiction.
Her perfectly pedicured feet would appear again in both Kill Bill films, despite the movies being about a lethal assassin.
Even The Hateful Eight had foot-focused scenes, though they're fully covered given the wintry setting.
When asked about this though, Tarantino insists that it ‘was just good direction’, with other filmmakers also taking the opportunity to maximise the screen time of feet.

"I don't take it seriously,” he told GQ, “There's a lot of feet in a lot of good directors' movies. That's just good direction.”
He added: “Like, before me, the person foot fetishism was defined by Luis Buñuel, another film director. And Hitchcock was accused of it and Sofia Coppola has been accused of it."
It seems the speculation isn’t going away any time soon – especially not after Margot Robbie’s recent comments.

The actor revealed to Vogue that Tarantino had asked for her feet not to be washed for a key scene in Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.
"My character walks into a movie theatre to see herself on the big screen, and she kind of kicks off her go-go boots and puts her feet up and settles in to watch the movie,” explained the 32-year-old.
However, the Barbie actor wasn’t so thrilled about kicking off her heels for the shoot.
“My feet were dirty because I’d been walking around set,” she admitted, “They stayed dirty in the movie because Quentin said, ‘Don’t. Don’t clean them.’"

Despite the crew's best efforts to clean Robbie’s act up, the director was still having none of it.
The Wolf of Wall Street star added: "Someone ran in to do it, and he was like, ‘No, it’s real. Keep it.’”
Maybe feet are just Tarantino’s Achilles Heel?
