Ozzy Osbourne admits spiking wife Sharon's dinner with 'black hash'

Ozzy Osbourne admits spiking wife Sharon's dinner with 'black hash'

The couple opened up about the bizarre row that followed, with Sharon chucking a phone in Ozzy's face

Ozzy and Sharon Osbourne have opened up about a frenzied spousal argument that arose after he spiked her stew with 'black hash'.

The Black Sabbath frontman was interviewed alongside his wife of 40 years on Apple Music, talking about his 13th studio album - as well as some typically bizarre anecdotes from down the years.

At one point, 69-year-old Sharon claimed: "He made me a stew with some s**t in it."

Ozzy, 73, initially feigned innocence, insisting: "I never f**king did that!"

However, when Sharon pressed him on what the 's**t' was, he admitted: "A bit of black hash."

Ozzy certainly saw the funny side of it.

Sharon went on to explain how she 'never' does stuff like that and it sent her 'crazy'.

She recalled: "I was eating this stew and it sent me crazy - it made me violent."

Ozzy added: "She throws the phone at me and it goes straight in the face."

Not content with launching a phone at her husband's face, Sharon said she proceeded to smash up a guitar belonging to Randy Rhoads - the late guitarist Ozzy worked with on his first two solo albums.

"Randy's guitar was there and I picked it up and slammed it against the wall," Sharon said.

"It made me crazy... It made me go insane and it was you that did it."

Ozzy himself recently recalled how we vowed to never take LSD again after a horse seemingly told him to 'f**k off'.

During an interview with The Daily Star, the rocker reflected on his drug-taking in the '70s, noting that when a chat with a horse turned sour, he realised it was time to knock LSD on the head.

"At that time in America, people were very fond of lacing your drinks with acid," he said. "I didn't care.

"I used to swallow handfuls of tabs at a time. The end of it came when we got back to England.

"I took 10 tabs of acid then went for a walk in a field. I ended up standing there talking to this horse for about an hour.

"In the end the horse turned round and told me to f**k off. That was it for me."

Fair enough, Ozzy. We all have a line we must draw.

On top of his drug and alcohol use, the singer has also had to face up to Parkinson's disease and several spinal operations following a fall in 2019.

Still, Ozzy has declared that he will take a leaf out of the aforementioned horse's book when the Grim Reaper comes knocking.

He said: "I refuse to f*****g die, when the Grim Reaper comes I'll say 'f**k off'.

"I'll get back on that stage if it kills me."
