Suits fans urged to watch Netflix original law series with near perfect rating

Suits fans urged to watch Netflix original law series with near perfect rating

It's a highly-recommended watch if you're waiting on the new Suits spin-off

We all have our favourite shows to binge on Netflix, from true crime to fantasy or from romance to

While some viewers have been loving the likes of One Day or Sofia Vergara as Griselda, others are still binging older, iconic shows like Suits.

I mean, viewers watched the series for a total of 57.7billion minutes on Netflix last year.

But all good things must come to an end – the popular drama ended back in 2019 after a mega nine seasons.

And as viewers continue to binge it and reach the finale, there comes the dreaded task: finding something else to watch.

Luckily for Suits fans, there’s a spin-off in the works, titled Suits: LA, which will follow new character Ted Black who moves his practice from New York to, you guessed it, Los Angeles.

There’s no set date for a release yet as reports suggest production won’t start until the end of March.

So, to fill the hole for now, Suits fans are urging others to watch a different Netflix original law series that brags a near perfect rating.

Plenty of users in our Netflix Bangers group suggest The Lincoln Lawyer as the perfect show to follow up with.

Having been renewed for a third season, the show is based on Michael Connelly’s best-selling novels and stars Manuel Garcia-Rulfo, Neve Campbell and Becki Newton.

A rather different set-up, the legal drama sees Mickey Haller (Garcia-Rulfo) running his legal practice out of the back seat of his Lincoln where he takes on both big and small cases across LA.

Yes, in case you’re wondering this is the same plot as the 2011 film with Matthew McConaughey, except in true Netflix style, in series form.

Made 11 years later, The Lincoln Lawyer has a slightly higher average score on the Tomatometer with a pretty decent 85 percent.

Audiences also rank it highly too, at a respectable 84 percent.

With plenty of viewers saying they followed Suits up with the show, fans on X say it’s ‘one of the best Netflix dramas of all time’.

Plenty say: “Y’all should watch The Lincoln Lawyer it’s so good.”

And another put: “The Lincoln Lawyer is quite a series. Haven't had such an interesting watch take me a week to finish. I really went hard on this one.”

Although one did say it took them eight episodes to ‘understand why he’s called The Lincoln Lawyer’.
