Netflix is adding its most anticipated titles of the year this month

Netflix is bringing the hits this November with some massive new shows, huge movies, and returning favourites

Netflix is bringing some of the most hotly anticipated titles of the entire year to the platform this month, and people are starting to get very excited about the prospect.

That’s right - it’s the first of the month.

What’s more, it’s the first of November, and - here in the UK at least - the clocks have gone back and the nights are getting colder and darker.

That means that it is now unequivocally the season to start sitting in of an evening and getting stuck into some telly-watching.

Luckily - as ever - Netflix has you covered, as there are a number of titles arriving this month that should give nearly everyone something to look forward to.

Michael Fassbender stars in The Killer.

They range from films from critically-acclaimed directors to fascinating celebrity documentaries - there have been a few of those recently - and a twist on one of the biggest shows of all time, to boot.

Chuck in some reboots of old favourites and returning staples, and you’ve got a decent line-up for what is usually a fairly bleak time of the year.

We’ll start with The Killer, shall we?

Starring Michael Fassbender and directed by David Fincher, The Killer is set to drop down into your streaming inbox on 10 November.

The synopsis reads: “Solitary, cold, methodical and unencumbered by scruples or regrets, a killer waits in the shadows, watching for his next target.

“Yet, the longer he waits, the more he thinks he's losing his mind, if not his cool.”

Sounds moody, right?

10 November, you can find out.

Sly will be on Netflix this month, too.

Before then, on 3 November you can see a documentary about one of the biggest actions movie stars of all time.

It’s called Sly and - you’ve guessed it - it’s about Sylvester Stallone.

He’s had an interesting life, and an interesting career, so there should be plenty to pick over there.

As for that ‘biggest shows of all time’ claim, how about Squid Game: The Challenge.

It’s just like the classic South Korean TV programme, but this time it’s for real.

OK, so people’s lives aren’t on the line, but they’ll have to perform the tasks from the show, or face elimination.

You’ll be able to catch that from 22 November.

Elsewhere, we’re looking at a comeback for The Crown as well.

That’s one of the biggest shows in the world, for sure.

Part one of the new series will be back on 16 November, before part two debuts on 14 December.

See, even though the days are getting shorter and the nights are getting colder, there’ll still be plenty to occupy you, and then it’ll be Christmas before you know it.

Hell, people will be starting to kick Christmas off from today, the way things have been going.

Anyway, happy watching.
