Netflix viewers disgusted after witnessing 'unnecessary incest' in new Christmas movie

All incest is unnecessary, guys

Netflix viewers have been left horrified by a hit Christmas film that depicted 'unnecessary incest'.

Now, I know what you're all probably thinking: isn't any kind of incest technically 'unnecessary'? Well, yes, I would agree, but it would appear that Family Switch really takes the biscuit with its inter-relation love.

The film - which is currently Netflix's most popular film in the UK - stars Jennifer Garner, Ed Helms, Emma Myers, and Brady Noon as a family that somehow ends up switching bodies with one another.

So, the daughter swaps with the mum and the son with the dad.

Now, on the face of it, it's nothing too crazy, there's been countless films - 13 Going on 30 and Freaky Friday - that have had the exact same premise.

However, viewers innocently watching the flick back at home were pretty perturbed by a particular interaction between the two siblings following the switch-up.

During said scene, daughter CC - at this point in Jennifer Garner's body - is joined by a group of friends at her house.

Not convinced by CC's claims that she and her hubby smooch 14 times a day, her friends want to see it in action.

And after the peer pressure mounts, CC eventually caves, giving her brother - in Ed Helms' body - a big old kiss on the lips.

Despite the two characters not enjoying it one bit, the scene left some fans feeling a little uneasy about the whole thing.

One commented: "The incest in Family Switch was NOT needed."

"The random incest in Family Switch caught me so off guard," put a third.

While someone else chimed in: "Marks a real low point body-swap comedies as it steals from all others before it without compunction. But you can thank your lucky stars they don’t go for the lowest hanging fruit: incest jokes.

"Just kidding. Those are there. I had you."

But it's not just the incest people aren't getting on board with; plenty of those who sat through the movie are really wishing they hadn't.

Reviewing the film, one person remarked: "Bro these new Christmas movies on Netflix are terrible. My mom and I started to watch Family Switch and we immediately turned it off cuz it was so bad."

Don't hold back, lads, tell us how you really feel.
