Mike Tyson blasts new series about his life that was created without his consent

Mike Tyson blasts new series about his life that was created without his consent

Iron Mike has taken aim at the streaming site over the upcoming release

Mike Tyson has hit out at the producers of a new series about his life. Have a look at the trailer:

If there's one person you probably don't want to annoy in this world, it's the former heavyweight champion of the world.

Tyson has made a career of beating seven shades out of all who have tested him.

Even more recently, in his life outside the ring, he's been known to go at it with complete strangers who rub him up the wrong way.

The 56-year-old has now taken issue with a new series about his life, called Mike, which is set to land on Hulu later this month.

In a series of posts to social media, Iron Mike blasted the streaming channel for attempting to tell his story without asking for his consent or paying him.

Hulu has produced a series about Mike Tyson, called Mike.

Thanking UFC boss Dana White for not taking part when he was approached, Tyson wrote on Twitter: "Hulu tried to desperately pay my brother Dana White millions without offering me a dollar to promote their slave master take over story about my life.

"He turned it down because he honors friendship and treating people with dignity.

"I'll never forget what he did for me just like I'll never forget what Hulu stole from me."

But he wasn't done yet.

The former sports star went on: "Hulu stole my story. They're Goliath and I'm David. Heads will roll for this.

"Don't let Hulu fool you. I don't support their story about my life. It's not 1822. It's 2022.

"They stole my life story and didn't pay me. To Hulu executives I'm just a n****r they can sell on the auction block.'

Tyson then demanded that someone be fired for this lack of respect, adding: "Hey @hulu I'm not a n****r you can sell on the auction block.

"Hulu's model of stealing life rights of celebrities is egregiously greedy #headswillroll.

"Someone should get fired from Hulu. Producers were lying to my friends saying I supported the unauthorized series about my life."

Since his outburst, a number of fighters and friends of Tyson have come out in support.

Sharing his tweets, UFC legend Nate Diaz said: "I'm wit Mike. F**k you Hulu."

WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman shared a couple of photos of him and the fighter together, and said Hulu should have shown him some 'respect'.

He wrote: "A fighter who was like a son to my father is @MikeTyson. I just spoke to him I’m so upset to learn that his upcoming series were produced without his involvement and consent The @WBCBoxing was mislead by @hulu and we provided belts for production.

"Mike Tyson Is a legend. RESPECT."
