Mike Tindall speaks out after being evicted from I'm A Celebrity

Mike Tindall is out of the jungle and he's got a few things to say

Mike Tindall has spoken out after getting evicted from the jungle right before the I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! finale.

The former rugby star was the eighth celebrity to be evicted, leaving just three campmates remaining in the jungle as we reach the end of the latest series.

Only heavily criticised MP Matt Hancock, Hollyoaks actor Owen Warner and former England footballer and Women's Euro 2022 winner Jill Scott are left in the jungle now, with one of the trio set to be crowned TV royalty.

Tindall, who actually is royalty thanks to his marriage to Zara Phillips, won't be crowned King of the Jungle but he's got some strong opinions on who deserves to win it.

He's also been taking the chance to talk about some of his finer moments on the show, boasting that his idea of wearing tight trunks in the shower was a chance to 'get my pineapples out'.

Mike Tindall told his campmate how he really feels about politicians.

The former rugby player spoke warmly about his time on I'm A Celeb, mentioning the fun he had with his campmates and how he was able to enjoy how it turned out better than his 'worst case scenario'.

He said: "It’s been a lot of laughs. That is the best thing. You can get through anything when the humour is good.

"Before I went in, I imagined the worst case scenario. Then you can deal with everything that’s coming at you. The only time I almost had a little wobble was when we had the night-time challenge.

"But then Seann had a wobble, and I could just go back to focus on Seann."

One of Tindall's other toughest moments was when he nominated himself for a bushtucker trial and ended up having to drink a cocktail made of a blended pig's penis.

He also got caught breaking royal protocol over staying politically neutral, as since Tindall married into the royal family he's still got to follow some rules.

Then again, saying 'all politicians are f*****s' could probably be seen as a pretty neutral and even handed statement to make.

Chugging a pig's penis cocktail was probably not one of Tindall's fondest memories.

Tindall has also given his opinions on the remaining campmates, saying he wants Jill Scott to be crowned Queen of the Jungle.

He was less kind about Hancock, claiming the MP for West Suffolk is 'polling for votes' and is so desperate to win that he keeps positioning his name and number so it's on camera as much as possible.

Once he's out, Hancock has got a book to promote, and being crowned King of the Jungle might help it sell better.

I suppose that means he wants Owen Warner to take second place.
