Lukas Gage praised Diplo for openly talking about his sexual experiences

The White Lotus star Lukas Gage has praised DJ Diplo for talking openly about his sexual experiences during an appearance on the High Low with EmRata podcast.

While speaking with model Emily Ratajkowski, Diplo confessed to have received a blowjob from a guy.

He said: “I’m sure I’ve gotten a blowjob from a guy before. For sure. 100%, yeah.”

The 44-year-old also spoke about the 'sexy' guys that show up on his social media feeds, saying: “They’re hot guys, [but] I don’t know if that’s gonna be the thing that’s gonna send me over to the gay side totally.”

Ratajkowski further questioned Diplo about his sexuality and how he identifies, to which he replied: “I think the best answer I have is I’m not not gay. There are a couple guys (…) I could date, life partner-wise.”

Diplo later described himself as 'more of a vibe guy… over gender'.

The musician has previously been known to have relationships with women, and shares two of his sons, Lockett and Lazer, with his ex partner, Kathryn Lockhart. He also has a third child, named Pace, with Trinidadian model Jevon King.

Gage since praised the Diplo for his comments from about being 'not not gay'. During an interview with Variety, he said: “I’m sure there are a lot of people who have that same exact experience but maybe don’t have the confidence or the honesty to talk about it like that.

"And, you know, there’s going to be people on either side saying that he’s not labeling himself enough."

He added: “I commend [Diplo] on his honesty and I don’t think we need to label everything and have it all figured out. Things can be in a gray area and don’t have to be so black and white."

Fans of the You actor can keep an eye out for How to Blow Up a Pipeline, as well as the premiere of queer comedy Down Low, which he co-wrote with Phoebe Fisher and also stars in with Zachary Quinto.

As to what to expect in the latter film, Gage said: “My hope is that they [fetish communities] feel like it’s a space of sex positivity and sexual identity positivity.

"For me, that movie is really a story about selfishness versus selflessness and embracing one’s true self before it’s too late.”
