Lewis Capaldi has been forced to reassure his fans that he’s OK after a video of him twitching a bit did the rounds on social media. You can see the video and Lewis' response below:
Capaldi was filmed playing a gig and seeming a little bit uncomfortable and twitchy during that performance.

Some fans started to ask whether he was OK or not, to which the 26-year-old has now responded.
The Scot told his supporters that – in case they had forgotten – he has Tourette’s syndrome, which causes him to have some ‘tics’ that exhibit themselves in different ways.
In his case, the tics can see him twitching a bit or seeming to jolt around at the shoulders, seemingly out of control of his body.

Tourette’s syndrome is a condition of the nervous system, and this is just how it works.
It’s nothing out of the ordinary for him, nor is it any cause to be concerned, as he pointed out to his fans.
In a video, he said: "Hello it's Lewis here.
“I've seen this video here doing the rounds on TikTok and I see a lot of people in the comments concerned because I'm twitching quite a lot.

"I'm doing this quite a lot and look a bit uncomfortable.
“I've got Tourette's so I'm just twitching quite a bit but it's not an issue in the slightest.
“I'm absolutely fine.
"It's just that this happens when I get tired, nervous, excited or whatever so it just gets more intense.

“I'm not doing it now at all because I'm lying in my bed in my pants but this is at the end of an hour and a half gig and I'm singing in front of 15,000 people.
“So, I'm tired and I'm very excited because this whole arena is singing my songs back to me but I'm fine.
“Thanks to everyone who came to the gig that night.

Lewis told everyone that he had Tourette’s in September of last year, announcing that he’d been diagnosed in March, but had been living with the condition for years before that without realising.
According to the NHS, Tourette’s most commonly starts in kids, with symptoms tending to improve over the years, in certain cases disappearing entirely.
There isn’t a known cure for it, but treatment can help to effectively manage symptoms.
Lewis explained his decision to go public about it was partly down to the fact that he didn’t want his fans to suspect he was ‘taking cocaine or something’.
In the end, his diagnosis was a relief for him, as he had previously thought it could be something worse.
He explained: “I have been diagnosed with Tourette’s.
"I wanted to speak about it because I didn’t want people to think I was taking cocaine or something.
“My shoulder twitches when I am excited, happy, nervous or stressed.
“It is something I am living with.
“It is not as bad as it looks."
