Harry Styles makes history after pulling off record-breaking concert in Scotland

Harry Styles makes history after pulling off record-breaking concert in Scotland

Styles in now officially bigger than the Loch Ness Monster.

It's official. Harry Styles has made it.

The former One Direction star now holds the record for the most fans that have packed a Scottish concert venue.

So, basically, he's bigger in Scotland than haggis or the Loch Ness Monster.

That's pretty big.

More than 65,000 fans scooted their boots down to see Styles at BT Murrayfield stadium in Edinburgh.

According to Scottish Rugby Union, the company who owns and operates the stadium, Styles' Scottish leg of his Love On Tour concert series went off like a frog in a sock.

As per a press release from the show promoters at BT Murrayfield: "Saturday night's Harry Styles concert is the highest-selling stadium concert in Scotland ever with an attendance of over 65,000."

They added: "Thanks to every single one of you for a fantastic evening."

Styles has pipped himself at the post, with his boy band One Direction selling 64,000 tickets at Murrayfield in 2014, which is now in second place as the biggest Scottish show ever.

The Daily Mail reports that he's even beat Scotland's own Lewis Capaldi, who broke the indoor record in January by selling 14,951 tickets for a live show in Aberdeen.

The Scottish mega-show is a milestone in his mammoth Love On Tour series, a marathon 169-date tour that kicked off in Las Vegas nearly two years ago.

The 'Watermelon Sugar' singer is on a victory lap of Scotland, England, Ireland, Wales and mainland Europe.

He will wrap up the multi-year mega tour in Reggio Emilia on July 22 to legions of his Italian fans.

And we're sure they'll lose their collective minds, just like one fan who went viral for her hilarious reaction to meeting the 'As It Was' singer.

She was widely reported to have fainted after Styles fist bumped her on the final episode of The Late Late Show in April.

The 29-year-old singer joined a star-studded cast that included Tom Cruise, Will Ferrell, Adele, and the extraction of James Corden from our TV screens.

The woman, named Cyndi, has spoken out about what really happened on Twitter, and it appears there’s more than meets the eye.

She wrote: "THIS WAS ME AND I DID NOT FAINT. I simply gracefully melted into my seat after the man locked eyes with me," she wrote.

"We locked eyes and I was SAT."

Girl, we would not blame you if you did keel over after locking eyes with the Don’t Worry Darling star. The entirety of Scotland sure as hell has.
