Speaking on the show, Norton announced: "You do fly your nerd flag with pride. One of your hobbies - and he's got a lot of them, ladies and gentlemen - is you paint..."
At this point, Cavill interjected and joked that saying he's got a lot of hobbies makes him sound 'weird'.
Swaying from side to side, Norton went on: "Well, you do have more hobbies than the average man, I'd say," finishing his previous sentence, he added: "You paint, is it World of Warcraft?"
Correcting him, Cavill says: "Warhammer," before the host goes on to ask: "You paint by hand? Does everyone do that or can you buy them already painted?"

Cavill explains: "You have to paint them, but it's just how much effort you put in to it."
At that point Graham says: "And you put a lot of effort."
Answering Norton's question about what he does after painting them, Cavill went on: "Then you put them together in little armies and fight against someone else's army."
Defending his pastime and saying it is 'fun', Graham quickly said: "Yeah... no... toys, very good fun."

Norton asked his guest whether he invites people over to which he admitted he does do. And that right there is reason enough to get into it, if you ask me.
Adorably, Tom Holland butted in at this stage, putting his hand in the air to ask: "Can I come over and play? It sounds amazing."
Following the unusual interaction, fans weren't best pleased with Norton's attitude toward's Cavill's hobby.

Taking to Twitter, one person wrote: "I don't know much about Graham Norton. Does he generally talk down to people like a d**k, or just when he wants to make fun of the lovely hobbies of an adorable gentle giant like Henry Cavill?"
Another added: "Graham Norton shaming Henry Cavill for not having traditional masculine hobbies (drinking too much and hassling people different from him)."
A third commented: "This attitude towards hobbies is one of the reasons I am glad I no longer live in Britain. I just don't get this kind of prejudice on display here and it's entirely unwarranted too."
Someone else agreed with the others, saying: "This kinda irritates me. Henry Cavill is just simply talking about his warhammer hobby while Graham Norton laughs in his face. He doesn’t need to defend his hobbies."
