You might think you know every detail about The Inbetweeners Movie, from the bad innuendos, iconic dance moves and countless awkward encounters - but do you know about Mike Skinner's role in the movie?
The musician is best known for his tracks released under The Streets, as well as some of his solo work as a rapper and singer-songwriter, but he's also dabbled in the film industry.
Following its success as a series, Skinner got involved with The Inbetweeners Movie, starring James Buckley, Simon Bird, Joe Thomas and Blake Harrison.

But if he wasn't one of the main cast; one of the drunk, horny hopefuls on the strip or one of the pale tourists around the pool, then what role did he have?
Well, Skinner's involvement actually took place off-screen, as he wrote a number of songs for the soundtrack of the movie. And just wait until you hear their titles.
Tracks by Skinner included 'Moanatronic 5000', 'P*ssay Patrol' and, wait for it, 'Clunge in a Barrel'.
If that doesn't scream Inbetweeners, then I don't know what does.

A total of nine songs on the soundtrack are attributed to Skinner, and they earned him a big payday.
In an interview with Skinner, publication Loud and Quiet revealed that the rapper took a percentage of the film's profits in exchange for his music.
It turned out that was a very, very good decision, because the film went on to break box office records and earn the title of the highest grossing British comedy of all time.

It's unclear exactly how big Skinner's percentage was, but Loud and Quiet has claimed it resulted in 'bags of cash'. The film raked in £13.2 million on its opening weekend alone.
And the success might have been enough to encourage Skinner to take up a new career in film soundtracks, but more than a decade on and The Inbetweeners Movie is still the only film for which Skinner is listed as a composer.
Joining the rapper on the soundtrack for the comedy are the likes of Miles Kane, Ke$ha, The Vines and Yolana Be Cool.
Instead of pursuing soundtracks, the rapper turned his attention to creating his debut feature film, which he wrote, directed, starred in and edited.

Titled The Darker The Shadow The Brighter The Light, the film was announced earlier this year alongside a new album from The Streets.
The album, which has the same name of the film, is the first full-length album The Streets have released since 2011’s ‘Computers And Blues’.
Not only that, but it comes complete with a UK tour.
