People are coming to realisation they're 'bottom teeth talkers' after seeing Megan Fox trend

People are coming to realisation they're 'bottom teeth talkers' after seeing Megan Fox trend

The viral trend is embarrassing users on TikTok

Amid the lip-syncs, the dance battles and the cooking videos, one of the latest online trends involves people analysing their own traits.

And it’s supposedly all to do with Megan Fox.

You might have already seen the floods of videos using Daya’s song ‘Hide Away’ – you know that one where it goes ‘Where do the good boys go to hide away, hide away?’, it’s pretty inescapable.

But the reason it’s being used so much is because it supposedly reveals what kind of talker a person is.

This follows a TikTok user explaining a tutorial on ‘how to talk like Megan Fox’ following a viral trend of using a filter to look like the Transformers star.

She says to talk like Fox, you should ‘show bottom teeth’ and ‘talk through the teeth’. You should also apparently do ‘random head bobs’, ‘squint’ your eyes and keep your ‘mouth slightly open’ even when you’re silent.

And it’s the whole showing your bottom teeth thing that has really resonated with people, as they realise it’s not something they’ve typically paid attention to before.

And users have been lip syncing to the Daya song as a way of finding out if they are a ‘bottom teeth speaker’ or a ‘top teeth speaker’ instead.

This is basically to determine if you naturally speak with your top or bottom row of teeth showing.

It seems like people aren’t all too happy either way as they start becoming fixated with looking at their teeth while they chat.

Many shared their clip of them being a ‘bottom teeth talker’ simply saying: “Please don’t contact me.”

Meanwhile, others said they were ‘mortified’ and said ‘thank god I’m a top teeth speaker’.

The trend has pretty much been around since 2022, but it's gaining traction again following the viral Fox moments and a change in beauty trends.

Most people seem to hope they're top teeth talkers as the 'more attractive' option - the opposite of the last time it went viral.

But that's obviously a very picky, minor thing - and it seems to be working for Fox.

Some did discover they're a 'middle teeth talker' as many wrote: "I talk with both but it could just be me."

Another wrote: "It depends on the word for me."

As one commented on a viral clip: "I'm a bottom teeth talker normal but if I smile I'm a top teeth talker."

Well, I'm sure there'll be another TikTok trend shortly.
